Ha. Didn't expect to see me right here, did ya? I've been moving stuff around on the site all day, trying to make things more usable, and this is one of those changes. I shrank some font sizes, to fit more info on the screen. I allowed the side boxes to stretch out a bit towards the side of the screen -- again, for more room. I put some error checking into the skin submission system so that you can't submit "empty" skins.
But there were 2 -- 2 and a half -- big changes I made today. One of them was moving this news page to the front. I think that this is one of the most important pages on the site, and none of you were reading it (server logs tell all). Now you don't have much of a choice. But it's good for you. It keeps you updated on what's happening here. And it allows you to contribute to discussions that are important to the future of BlogSkins. It's good.
The rating algorithm has also been changed. Previously, if I made a new skin, called it something like "A New Skin", and one person gave it 5 stars, it would have been on the top of the top 10 list. Not any more. It should be *much* more accurate now, taking into account the number of times it has been rated. Give it a look.
I'm also close to being able to let non-Blogger people into the site. That, and many more exciting things to come. Stay tuned.
