You'll immediately notice something different here -- the design. I added some graphic elements to make it feel a little cleaner AND stylish. I also removed the old left column, and moved navigation on top. This leaves more room for content in the middle, especially for those of you at lower resolutions. There are also a few new sayings in the ol' header graphic up there. I finally got around to adding some of the suggestions from this discussion -- a little more than a year late.

Another noticeable improvement is speed. This site, and my personal site, are the only sites hosted on this server -- a far cry from the 200+ hosted on the old one. And it's my experience so far that this one crashes far less often (or not at all). Since I have full control over the server, I can also install anything I want on it, which so far has meant multiple security measures to keep your data safe, monitoring scripts to automagically fix problems that may arise, and mod_gzip and PHP accelerator to make pages load faster.

So a big, big thanks to Hostsave for the hosting -- you'll hear more from them later, to be sure. I'm excited about the possibilities that this raises, and you should be too.
