Umm.. My cousin and I want to open a blogshop but we really don't know what we're supposed to do. So those who know or have info on blogshops, can you please teach me how and what we have to do to create one. Thanks!

SCHOOLS
This one is a bit unnecessary but I'm just curious and I want to know.. What Secondary schools are you people in or going to? If it's Bedok South, I'd really like to meet you.. Haha. I'm keen on knowing how you people look like. But you don't need to answer this if you don't want to.

I'm not really new in blogskins, and.
I so far have seen & actually experienced EXTREME RUDE blogskinners.

I've seen a very good blogskinner doing skins.
In her profile, she is like: I'm very friendly bla bla.

Then someone used her codes by accident. JUST ONE PART, just because she liked the headers.
Then that blogskinner went to her blog and said:

"F U C K Y O U"

Is that what they have to do?

hello. i was just bored, and wondering, what do you guys think about tagging on blogshops? you know, almost every blogshop has a tagboard for "advertising". do you think advertising your blogshop on those tagboards really work? haha. i was really just wondering. i mean, like everyone just spams.

For those who have blogshops: Do you tag there for the sake of tagging? that is, if you do it manually.

Those without blogshops but do visit them: do you read through the tags/advertisements?

It may just be more effective to advertise your blogshop here, so i guess there's no harm in advertising. ADVERTISE YOUR BLOGSHOPS HERE ALL YOU WANT. =]

Does anyone know of a good site for bases? I'm desperately finding for one.

If you don't know what's a base, it's a 100x100 image. Of course, it's different from an icon. It's only cropped to 100x100, so that you can customize it to your own liking.

Feel free to self-plug your bases site too, but I don't think anyone here has one.

Yep! I'll be singing as a guest performer for a singing competition held by Youthbox. The event is from 5 pm to 9 pm on the abovementioned date.

I had lots of fun there with my BFFs & the cosplayers were awesome! (kaname is hot.)
I thought it was something like my anime shopping spree heaven. LOL. I spent $125 thereeeee.

hi, i'm a student from Ai Tong and i just got back my psle results: 267, +3 for higher chinese. my dilemma is this: i've always had my sights set on rgs, but recently i've been asking around and my friends suggest i should go to nygh. family, however, prefers me to go to rgs.

i've recently picked up tennis, so i wish to practice over the hols and join that (or netball) as a cca next year. from what i've heard, both schools have a very rigorous selection process for sport ccas. also, i am better at english, but i'm interested in sciences, humanities and chinese warfare - and only the bloodshed, don't like the actual language. xD. my friends have applied for nygh, and those who are going to rgs are those that i don't really like.

i'd like to consider some aspects of both schools: the students' personalities, the cca selections, overall school spirit, atmosphere of the school itself and the teachers in respective schools. it would be extremely helpful if i can get some insight from pupils' experiences in either schools.

Hate threads

This may not stop hate threads from popping up every once in a while but I hope this makes people think twice about whether to press that blue "post" button, especially if you're 15 and above.

Don't give those adults who call preteens/teenagers mere children a reason to continue calling us children. Just because we're young doesn't mean we cannot possibly have the mental capacity to think beyond our age. When they say age is only a number, it doesn't only apply to adults who need to relax, it can also apply to us preteens/teenagers.

We're called young adults for a reason; we're supposed to learn how to behave and think as an adult. Growing up is all about self discovery and learning from our experiences, whether it's the hard way or the easy way. As a community we should be trying to help people learn the easy way whatever we learnt the hard way just so that they don't need to go through the pain we did cos we were young and foolish. We shouldn't be bashing each other mindlessly without helping them learn from their mistakes, especially if we were once guilty of that mistake.

It's disconcertingly hypocritical to see people who flame anonymous detractors on their friends' blogs and turn around and bitch about others anonymously, whether on their own blogs or on another platform (i.e. the forums).

Also, to those targeted in any hate threads: Maybe it's time to reflect on potential reasons regarding why people are flaming you on the world wide web. Even if the hate thread simply says you suck without giving any reasons, maybe you can pause and think about how you've behaved in the community, see whether there's been any cause for hatred.

In short, what I'm trying to say is this:
You make the choice whether you want to be completely immature and hide behind anonymity or act according to your age and tell the people CONSTRUCTIVELY via Blogskins mail. You make the choice whether you want to change yourself for the better or remain the way you are until something drastic forces you to regret and change. No one wants to see another sweetpurity fiasco.

PROMOTE your own blog/skin/blogshop etc.
