Skip Beat! is a nice read, though the anime might pale in comparison. :) I don't get why you don't like it. :S
Long animae are great for the holidays, because you'll most probably be watching around 10-15 episodes per day. :S If it's long, Katekyo Hitman Reborn will do. Never too draggy or uninteresting (though the recaps are enough to kill you). :D

However you can try picking up Nabari no Ou, or maybe if you're more of the school type... Gakuen Alice or Lovely Complex? Itazura na Kiss might work too, perhaps K-On! or yeah, what the others mentioned... or maybe a movie production, e.g. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, etc. :)

Ya know, I've always considered myself more un-girlish but I prefer shojo to shonen. Even though I still love Final Fantasy and stuff. =) I'm reading Koukou Debut now. xD

even though shugo-chara has 70+ episodes altogether but its really worth watching :D

I recently just watched Jigoku Shojo.
So i would recommend that show. It's really nice though there are quite a number of series. :)

Some people say skip beat has 100+ eps.
Some people say they watched the 100+ eps.

But heck, i just can't find. All i found was 20+ eps ones.

The manga has around 130+ chapters and ongoing. The anime has 25 episodes.

Er, just so you know, the anime adaption of Fruits Basket has only 26 episodes. If you're talking about the manga, then yes, it's over 100 chapters.

hey all, since the june holidays are here, i'm sitcking to watch animes to kill time,
any reconmends u can give,espcially comedies like ouran high or special A (which i watched)
or supernatural stories like vampire knight or kuroshitsuji which both have a litlle comedy into it,

P.S- dun give me bleach,naruto,skip beat,fruit basket or those very long episodes with 100 plus epsiode
