just here to submit my blog's previous skin which i used for... almost a year (*gasp*) gee, i've been lazy D:

a rather simple skin that took a depressingly long time to do.

i'm quite sure i broke a lot of rules trying to get the effect i wanted and i didn't manage to in the end; this is about as close as i can get without spontaneously combusting.

increase height of #clouds layer if you run out of sky.
replace tagboard link with your own.
remove the floating things if they start bugging you.

as usual, feedback is much appreciated and do stop by http://ohdoubledamn.livejournal.com we've got some insane sales going on right now.

oh and yes, inspired by the song of the same name by tokio hotel. works only on browsers that support transparent pngs and looks best in m firefox. a little jerky in ie but mostly works; actually it might not work at all :/ preview in f11 for full effect

here's another skin that got lost in all the backlog. not particularly spectacular and rather gloomy in fact, but it's something i can identify with... sometimes :/

not one of my better works, but i just needed to burn off some excess energy from all my excitement.

the finals for this live it up without lighting up tshirt design competition is going on today (31st may) outside plaza sing at 5-8pm and obviously i'm participating or i wouldn't be all hyped up and all.

i finally got to changing my blog's skin so here's the previous one. it's dedicated to simple plan and they being mighty old a band, they probably don't have as many fans as before. quite sad, that.

anyway, (self-plugging warning) if you're free on the 31st of may, do come down to plaza sing from 5 to 8pm to support... well me i guess :X

there's this Rockin' Without Smokin' event and submissions for a tshirt design competition will be showcased and i really need people to help vote for my submissions. and though i don't actually expect anyone to turn up, i guess i tried.

boo! here i am again, even though i should be doing my neverending homework. but anw, this skin is about severus snape :D

oh and it's a submission for the bidol comp, though i wasn't sure if severus snape could be considered my idol. but googling define: idol gave me

idol:

- someone who is adored blindly and excessively
- paragon: an ideal instance; a perfect embodiment of a concept

so i guess that works :D

btw, if you don't read the harry potter series, then this would probably make no sense to you. and my photoshopping skills sort of suck, so yeahhhhh, be leniet k? :X and it looks nicer if you preview in f11.

yo! hahas. my blog's previous skin.

the codes are quite a nightmare as its basically all css and i improvised a lot here and there. works in most versions of firefox but for ie, the navigations sort of screw up in the old version, like the version without tabs.

but if you're using the old version of ie, i seriously recommend you get the latest. like tabs are amazingggg :D

oh, the positioning might look a little weird in the preview but rest assured it's fine in blogger.

yeps. my blog's previous skin. its really really very plain, but that's the whole point of it. oh and i changed my codes a little, so they look neater now i hope :X

anw, i wanted to submit a skin for the no name but really cool BS comp, but seeing as one of the judging criterion is colour... this skin obviously doesnt have it.

so, should i submit this skin? or should i submit my blog's current skin? or maybe just shouldnt submit any.

heh you might realise that this skin looks extremely similar to saccharinelove's skin gone, but she happened to see this on my blog and used it as inspiration for her skin.

so yeahs... just wanted to clear things up.
