Okay... I got bored and distracted from studying today so i decided to work on a different coloured version of my last skin 'Tapestry Romance'... some of you guys suggested blue... so here it is! Granted, the colour scheme isn't exactly blue-y blue but rather teal-blue to acheive the lush quality that version 1 had.. i hoped i acheived it...

2 pictures to upload into your own server:

tapestryteal and tapestrytealintro

I hope the colours aren't too dark... haha.. and i hope this lives up to the standard that version 1 set... i tweaked some stuff a little... check out the navigation buttons :)
Yikes! Resubmitted ^_^''' technical stuff...

Anyway, here's the description: Tapestry Romance is lush, dark, romantic with a lot of patterns and textural effects... it's a departure from my usual style. The process was a lot more different -- instead of constructing a skin based on an image, i was sourcing for images to construct the skin. It took a super long time but I'm quite happy with the result... the html and java script took a long time to figure out, so i koped it from another skin... can't quite rmb what skin it was though... most suitable for 1028x768 screen :) The colour scheme is based on midnight shades of maroon and wine purple (my fav colours)... features a verse from a sonnet by Pablo Neruda in the intro...

And yes. It's a feminine skin. I'll try something unisex next time... lol :)

There are two images you need to download. I'm currently hosting them in my photobucket account. It's a great image-sharing, image-hosting site which I highly recommend if you still don't have your own image hosting space :) Photobucket rocks! Okay the two images are:

Tapestry

Intro

Hope you like the skin! And many thanks to the people who commented in the last one... really appreciated them :)
Hmm... some of you may find this familiar... this is an updated version of the skin that i made about 3 years ago when i first started making blogskins... haha... if i'm not wrong, it was my first or second skin... quite badly done... Anyway, color scheme is basically greens and black... featuring an image i manipulated using photoshop
I apologise to those who have commented on the skin when i first entered it. It must be baffling as to why i had to submit the skin again. I found some technical glitches in my last skin which rendered it impossible to edit the skin when I wanted to so I had to take it down and resubmit all over again. As you can see, I was rather careless in my scripting.

Anyway, featuring the lovely Keira Knightly and Matthew MacFayden, the best Mr. Darcy since Colin Firth, in Joe Wright's film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, written by the remarkable Jane Austen. Please save the pictures, because i'm not rich enough to purchase unlimited bandwidth, i use a free account at photobucket and there is a limit every month.

*NOTE: the space at the top is for the blogger tool bar that comes out automatically if you use this template in blogger.com so don't worry about it :)

It's been a long time since i came here, so many things have changed... some great designers have come on board but the whole attitude, when it comes to contributing skins, has changed... designers become over-defensive, taking to heart nasty comments and threatening people to retain credits or they'll 'flood (their) tagboard'... it's become ugly...

this one was suppose to be based on the anime haibane renmei, but when I sourced for pictures to manipulate, i found an image that was pretty, and i transformed it into this... take note of the title... and take note of what i said earlier...

I chose the font Garamond for this skin instead of the usual verdana. It was a risky move, some may like it, some may not, but if you want to change anything about it (the colour, the font, the whatever) go ahead :D get creative, and no, you don't have to credit me... it's not really necessary :)

If you want to download this template, please follow the 3 steps below:

1) right clicking on the links: shattered , background and press 'Save Target As' and save the pics on your computer.

2)get an account at http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.us, get into your account and upload the picture that you saved in your computer.

3)after the pic is uploaded, there will be a couple of codes under it. Use the direct link and replace the one on the html template... 'direct link' means the code which starts with 'http://...'

i know this is a little troublesome but i have no choice. I hope you'll like the skin anyway. :D

if you don't understand the 3 steps above, send me an email, i'll try to help you as much as i can.

Thank you for you effort!
I watched 'The Notebook' recently on dvd, and it really blew me away, so i decided to make a skin on it.

Anyway, featuring the versatile Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling (the movie turned me into a fan!), i've used a slightly different style on this blog... it's extremely 'image-based'. i manipulated the image at the top using photoshop... and i really liked the way it turned out :)

As usual, if you want to download this skin, follow the 3 steps below:

1) right clicking on the links: the notebook and the notebook 2 and press 'Save Target As' and save the pics on your computer.

2)get an account at http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.us, get into your account and upload the picture that you saved in your computer. If you have your own domain, better still, save it in your domain.

3)after the pic is uploaded, there will be 3 codes under it in your album. copy the 1st or 2nd code and replace the original code with your code. if you don't know how to replace the original code, then send your html IMAGE code (the one with the blue words "URL" on the left of it) from photobucket.com and the html script to me via email IN A WORD DOCUMENT, okay? i'll be glad to help out.

i know this is a little troublesome but i have no choice. I hope you'll like the skin anyway. :D

if you don't understand the 3 steps above, send me an email, i'll try to help you as much as i can.

Thank you for your effort!

P.S. If you are planning on getting a tag-board, remember to re-size it and make it narrower so it fits in the box :)

PRESS 'REFRESH' IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE PIC
Well, here it is. Introducing 'Autumn In My Heart', the korean soap drama that claimed a piece of the market in Singapore for all other following korean dramas! Featuring the very good-looking Song Seung Hun (yes, him AGAIN!) *swoons* and the gorgeous Song Hae Gyo, as well as their childhood counterparts Choi Woo Hyuk *swoons again* and the very pretty Moon Geun Young. There were so many nice pictures, i think i might do another autumn skin, this time predominantly featuring two child actors. What do you think? :D Anyway, as usual...
As the title suggests, this skin features rosebuds. The colour scheme is simple, red and black. There's space for links, and a tagboard -- but you'll have to resize your tagboard so that it fits the sidebar section. Rather simple skin. Not very sophisticated or anything... i just did this in the spur of a moment. Nothing fancy or cool. so yeah, don't expect too much. complain about excess scrollbars all you want... i couldn't care less.

Have a nice day.

*It's a dark skin, so yeah, it's supposed to be dark*

*the red of the fonts cannot be to overpowering... which is why perhaps the fonts are hard to read... sorry abt that*

Simple skin, simple picture. Features a picture of a rose on ice, hence the name. I've used reds, pinks for fonts and background. Although i'm not a fan of pink myself, i think it goes well with the picture of the rose.

I did some changes to the original layout. So should you wish to download this skin, please follow the steps below:

1) right clicking on the link: Rose On Ice and Background and press 'Save Target As' and save the pics on your computer.

2)get an account at http://www.photobucket.com , get into your account and upload the picture that you saved in your computer.

Like my Meet Teddy layout. I had feedback over my first alter ego skin about the picture being slightly grainy. this is due to the fact that i had compressed it to fit the layout for 600 by 800 skin. So i decided to do up another quicky layout using the same picture but this time, i didn't compress it so the picture quality is much, much better (at least, to me it is) Scrolly boxes. If you don't like scrolly boxes, erase the height: xxx; command in the css script. This layout may not work in Mozilla... at least i think it might not. Coz the picture is bluey, this layout is bluey as well.

Hope you anime fans out there will like this

Have a nice day. :)

Dark and feminine. Features a couple of flowers in sepia. It looked rather 'poetic' in a funny sort of way, hence the name. I've never tried this layout format before, although i've seen other skins with this sort of format. I thought perhaps i'd just experiment a little. Dark background with dark khaki fonts...
This skin has been sitting around my computer for some time... I wasn't very sure if i should submit it... but i did anyway. As it's name suggests, this skin gives a wintery feel. Features a picture of branches with snow on them. The rest of the layout is quite simple. I've used different shades of grays for the fonts and borders. There are drop-down menus for your links etc. and some space for your tagboard. I've included the guessing game again. :) I like it a lot and i've decided to include it. I've edited it by using style text. You may remove it if you don't like the game. Hope you'll like this skin.
As it's name suggests, this is a very simple skin... using the conventional black background with different shades of blue fonts. Unlike my other skins, I've decided not to use any images for this one. It's more professional looking i guess and it suits both 800 by 600 and 1024 by 764 screen. I hope both guys and girls will like this one. Most of my previouse skins were pretty much on the feminine side... I've added quite a lot of extras on this skin like a clock, calendar, search bar and the game from syahidah's skin. The calendar and clock were from http://www.dynamicdrive.com and the search bar is from http://www.freefind.com. As for the game, it seemed to me that many people like the game a lot so i decided to add it in... sure, you may view this as copying but i did tweak it a little so it looks a little different to suit the skin.
Anyway, I hope y'all like this skin.
Thank you and have a good day.
Okay, this is a very girly skin. I'm not a fan of pink actually, but i guess i decided to make a pink skin, for all pink (as in the colour) fans out there :) Features a picture of chi from chobits... i was introduced to that particular manga by a friend... so i'm gonna dedicate this skin to her :)
Please do post comments, I know i have loads of room for improvement, especially for this skin... but i just can't figure out what's missing... Thanks for your time! :D
