Anyway, this is the red version. I'm currently using the blue version myself. I think the red version's nicer cause it was the original one I made, BUT the blue version still won't be shared :) TEEHEE I'm still selfish after all :) Anyway, hope you all love this as much as I do.

Took a hell lot of time to complete doing this skin. Yes, I did it from scratch, and first time trying out Adobe Illustrator here! So I would greatly appreciate if the credits remain where they are. Uhmm, yeah that's all I guess. Prom-inspired and disco colours. Have a wild time!

Okay, needs lots of explanation. Firstly, I don't know what I'm doing. The skin was mianly inspired by Love Song by Sara Bareilles you have to go give it a listen.
The top layer = the past, where the girl's oh-so-infatuated with her lover and having a "sweet life"
Bottom layer = present, where she's ditched her boyfriend for loving someone else, looking back at the past, and how she's awesomely confident and happy as an individual.
Yes, very very act chim skin. Have to think deep.
So the skin's about how girls don't need lovers nor guys to carry on. They could live happily and confidently themselves, not relying on anyone else. It's about girls being independent and not sticking to a boyfriend as soon as his heart is no longer with her. It's about confident boy-ditching, living a happier life after that. GO GO GIRLS!

Okay, so WHATTHEFUCK. I totally just discriminated my own gender and supported the other. WTF, but no choice I'm too in love with the song, which made up the inspiration.

There, I ditched my courageous motto of making skins for guys due to overload of girl skins, and I even joined them. Garh,

And out of the "very little", three quarters are cartoon skins, which are actually quite childish for mature men(?!)

I think I'm much of a cheapskate leech-er actually. I've had so many skins which style were grabbed from others. This, modern romance from sfmy the S.H.E skin from soldmysmile.

I wanted already, to create a Paul Frank skin since I fell in love with that skater image of Julius. I've tried many many other stykes, but this seems to suit the best huh.

Specially for Paul Frank lovers, cartoon maniacs and my fans. Just joking(:

I based the style of this skin alot on (soldmysmile)'s one. So I have to thank her very much for the inspiration of this skin, though I didn't exactly ask her for permission of basecodes or reference. You should go look at her skins, awesome!

I made some minor changes to the skin, like changing a few images here and there, and toggling with contrast and brightness of the images to make them look more in unison. So thanks for your comments, and they've really helped me to improve this skin!

I spent about 5 hours alone figuring how I should do the navigations. I actually had this idea of navigations, when hover on the Xes, a superwoman wonderwoman was supposed to pop out from the top and the speech bubble would indicate what is that navigation.

I even finished editing all the pictures and stuff, till I realised mouseon mouseout navigations couldnt fit cause otherwise the whole skin would be screwed. I experimented with like, a zillion kinds of navigation methods, but in the end I had to make do with a simple one.

Woah, I think this is the best skin I have ever made. I am so totally in love with this skin, so for all the time I put in, I had better get SOTD!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that this skin actually came from multiple inspirations. 1) My mum bought an antique house phone a few days ago, and 2) Eighties Rewind, the Channel 5 TV series had some kind of competition, and I was just rather inspired by it.

So tata, a mix of imagination, marilyn monroe, and some vectors, end up with RETRO!

I kinda improved alot in the techniques used on this skin. I wanted to save an image as a pattern, and use it, but in the end the file always got corrupted so I had to use the eraser tool to slowly create the background. LOL,

No one had better remove my credit. It was super ultra difficult to complete okay! I mean, look at the credits! 6 images and 4 brush sets. I still had to look across the whole of deviantart to find a cartoon woman who could look like she was sitting on a car okay! HARD WORK MAN.

I spent even more time on doing the coding of this skin than the time used to do the skin, I am a totally html idiot and the only way I code is through reference to other's codings. I used manikka's for this skin, and wow, doing the table thing for the image totally wasted a lot of time though I don't understand what it is used for. And screw blogger previews cause they are not accurate. This skin was a total flop on blogger preview (which spent me more than 3 hours fiddling) but after I saved the template things were as perfect as ever.
Yea, so this is a totally new tryout and please, comment and rate reasonably.
