This skin features The All-American Rejects, or rather, specifically Tyson Ritter, the lead vocalist. Hahah. Awesome band. :) This is also my first attempt at using light textures. If you haven't noticed, most of my artwork consist of scratchy textures instead. A rather big change for me. :P

Thank you Darian/liketragic! and Xinyi/Dawnoflights. for inspiring the style of this blog skin.

The holidays are soon going to be over. I designed this skin partly to signify the end of the June (summer...) holidays, and also to alleviate my frustration, because you know what? On the Monday when school reopens, I'll have P.E., Chinese and Triple Science classes. Damn it. -_-

On a side note, I'm never going to design an interface skin like this again, now that I've experienced the true difficulty of trying to hunt down stock images. :(

I'm not expecting much from this submission because I'm just trying out something... new? Most of my image layouts feature either music bands or photography, so I'm just going to design something totally random and out of the blue this time. I hope it isn't too abstract, or something. :P

I was jogging yesterday evening when I sketched the idea out in my head. Well, when I got home I started to mess around with Photoshop with my ears plugged to OMFGG (I don't catch the drama but yeah the soundtrack is good)... so this explains why there's "Feeling Better" by The Teenagers in the image. It's a rather nice song, though. The Teenagers is a French band. :)

This skin features Hey Monday, a new band which I've heard of only at the end of last year. Honestly speaking, the band used to be my anthem for November last year until I kind of grew out of it. XD It's still darn awesome, though. ;)

I think this is the first time I've used pink as a base colour, so do point out any flaws in the colour combination. :) The codes are rather plain too, and I'm open to suggestions.

As you can see, this is an anime/manga skin which includes Rokudo Mukuro vs Byakuran from the future arc in Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Good anime, awesome manga. XD The pink strokes at the bottom part of the image is actually the blood that Chrome spurted out... I know it looks rather weird in pink, but yeah, I had to match the colours.

Also, this is my very first attempt at manga colouring, so I used rather muted colours because I can't really distinctly shade features yet. For the record, I did colour Byakuran's hair, but the grey was kind of "eliminated" by the textures I applied. Just to clarify all your doubts. ;)

I made a Yamamoto Takeshi one too, but it was an epic failure... Mukuro will do. :)

I deleted the skin I submitted yesterday because I personally didn't think it was up to the standards of the skins here, plus it's kind of unoriginal. Hahah.

Here's a skin I made weeks ago, featuring a lineart of Fall Out Boy - my first attempt at lineart, too. I actually intended to just leave it as lines, but after seeing so many of these style of lineart around in BlogSkins, I've decided to fill it with colour (I took a very long time trying to get the colours right...). :) I've added some stocks and brushes to make it look a little less plain.

Here's a new layout. It was a request as someone wanted something similar to the one in my defunct tutorial and resource (?) blog. I started coding it last night, itchy fingers. The lyrics are from the song "Mardy Bum" by Arctic Monkeys, some really ancient song I found in my iTunes.

Anyway, here's a new skin from me. Something experimental, I guess, because I played around with the CSS and came up with some weird looking headers for the sidebar and dates. Hahah.

This skin is entirely based on div layers, so you won't need to worry about the time taken to load the tables!

This skin was heavily inspired by LiveJournal layouts, and the background pattern is courtesy of pullyourtangles.
