Hmmm, I was just playing around with the pattern. I know some elements dont match but, well, just wanted to give it a go because i wanted to see what the final piece looks like.

Something that I used as a previous skin in my blog. I wanted to make the whole skin look like a polaroid. In some sense, it does resemble one. In other senses, I have no idea what I was doing. :/

Basically, this whole idea of the skin is about a made-up character (aka. Xavier) that me and my friend made up. My friend is a lyricist (someone who write song lyrics) and she wrote a song called Xavier, depicting his love story. I cant post the lyrics here but well, I can share the story. (:

On a coincidental note, I am a preschool teacher (part-time) and one of my favourite boys in class is also called Xavier. :P

The Story
Xavier lives in 1980, in his stepmom's attic, and one day he finds a time portal (via a polaroid being stacked inside a rattan picnic basket on a cupboard at his stepmom's attic) that allows him to travel through time, into the future. He arrives at year 2010 and is acquainted to a girl whom he gradually falls in love with. :)

I know what youre thinking: This story is so corny. But the lyrics she wrote are AMAZING.

I just love owls. They are nocturnal animals but I decided to make this skin look bright and cheery so as to depict that these beautiful animals also have a lighter side. :)

Someone recently sent me an email to ask me to make a skin on owls but Ive been really uninspired so I decided to do something cartoon-like.

I drew the tree myself. Sorry if it suck but well, at least I tried. :P

Highly highly inspired by Kurt Halsey Frederikson and The Jonas Brothers' 'When you look me in the eyes'. Love holds no boundaries. I feel that be it man-woman love, gay love, lesbian love, friendship love or family love, all of them are beautiful and should not be discriminated.
Love for who they are, not what they are.

It is very important to credit the source of your image(s), textures, patterns, etc etc. As long as it isnt yours, CREDIT!

There has been a wide use of Kurt Halsey's artworks and I absolutely adore him. You can learn more about this wonderful artist on his website KH.com or on Wikipedia.

I looked at the end product and sort of went rofl because I realised the model in the picture was a male model but I mistook him for a woman because of his make-up and dressing. Haha..

My first go at blending. Also my first skin to be tested in Firefox. Press f11 on your keyboard for a better view.

Sorry if it sucks. I love the song Kiss Goodbye by Lee Hom so I decided to use him as a theme. :) I grayscaled the original background pattern which is by sanami276 to suit the skin. Im still trying to get the hang of blending and cropping. I suck at these intricate detailing stuffs.
