My 4th skin in a row! In 3 days!

Chinese words running in my blood

All of the text sounds weird when translated, but it really sounds much better in the original Chinese.

The 汩 character didn't exist in the font I used, so I had to copy the 三点水 from elsewhere and paste it next to a 日 character. Unfortunately, this caused it to be all hollowed out, so I had to individually fill in every pixel with the pencil function in Paint. Did I mention how shaky my hands are?

[EDIT] In the preview, the sidebar looks as if it's too far from the entries, but this is to accommodate the scrollbar when the cbox etc. is added. The sidebar is wide to accommodate wide things.

My 3rd Chinese skin in two days. I think I'm on a roll now.

The text in the image is:

the sky reveals some white
and from behind the clouds
the sun gradually reveals its smiling face

but the grey sky
actually retains its dim colour

I must stop torturing myself by coming up with text that is so difficult to translate.

Oh, well.

This skin is intended to be greyscale. So please don't comment asking me to make it more colourful. It says 颜色暗淡 - can't you read?

This is difficult to translate, but it means roughly:

the scenery in my heart is charming and gentle

Yes, after 8 months, here is my new skin.

The words in the picture are:

那颗石子激起的小涟漪
化成了漩涡
即将把我吞噬

而你冰冷的眸子
看着这一切
居然无动于衷

The ripple caused by the pebble
has turned into a vortex
and is about to swallow me up

and your ice-cold eyes
see all of this
and have no reaction

It sounds much better in Chinese.

I know the codings are overly simple and not original at all. Quite frankly, I think the words in the image are the best part of this skin.

3 skins in 1 day! I'm getting a lot of inspiration, I must say.

Well, I was just playing around with GIMP when I realised that what I had done would make a good blogskin. So I touched the image up and made the background. Then I popped the pics into Blogger and adjusted the CSS and voila! Out came a skin. LOL.

I realise that this may not be that good. I didn't say I got good inspiration. :(

So, here it is...after a looong unannounced hiatus...my latest skin!

This image was done entirely with Paint...I don't have Photoshop anymore. I was playing around with the black background and decided to airbrush the whole thing. Then I was searching for something to caption it with when it hit me. :)

A dark skin.

As usual, pretty typical.

Well, it's mostly black and hot pink. Basecodes from sweet-melancholy.

Works in IE only. It displays fine in Firefox, but the hovering doesn't work and there may be some other problems.

Oh, this skin only works in IE7. I haven't tested it in IE6 because I don't HAVE IE6, but it doesn't work in Firefox, which is why I thought I had thoroughly messed up the HTML when I hit preview. I'm USING Firefox!

The idea came from True-Me while we were chatting on MSN. I did the image on Photoshop.
Essentially, it has this photo frame with a photo of a young couple inside, except that the glass is cracked right across the heart.
