I do not know how to do layouts, but I know HTML. Can someone explain, please? Thanks!

The way I learned was by starting off with one of the basic blogger templates and changing different things to see how it looked. At the same time, I downloaded a number of templates from this site to see how the designers went about putting the code together. I spent some time playing around with these templates too. After a few weeks, I was able to start making my own templates using the knowledge I had gained.

but just don't start the wrong way most pple do which is to rip off other designers code and submiting it.

from me :
1. i get started with collecting some pics from google, edit it, or make it by myself at adobephotoshop.
2. i use frontpage and dreamweaver to edit the html, put the blogger script, and input the image files.
3. i check it at my own blog.
4. i posted here. hehhehehe
but i always suggested to people to save their previous script (html code), before they change layout, or doin something.

orrr.... you can do it the old-fashioned way and write it by hand using notebook! like me!

hmmm...learn the basic html codes then get the blog tag...view the html of the skins here and try to learn something about 'em...just dont steal it.

so it is just that you get some help from other ppl's codes and look at their template and do ur own over time? and issit you can also make in dreamweaver?
