newbie here, don't really know the rules and such.
but, as my title stated, are relink pages considered blogskins?
just a simple question. hope someone would answer because i don't remember blogskins templates being an image as a link.  thanks.

Hmmm they are but I guess they're not very useful. I wouldn't wanna use a relink skin haha. I find it a bit useless. If I would I'd make my own 
And yes I find the recent advent of making relink skins a bit distasteful D:

i agree.
but its for newbie's to practice on how to make blogskins.
relink skins are the simplest of the simplest.
and maybe since some around here have not the slightest idea on how to make a blogskin,
they stick to relink skins, which in my opinion, do not deserve 4 or 5 stars at all, since stars are given for effort, and little effort is needed to make a relink skin

wishforaDream, er er er, not really recent to be exact. It has started about a year ago ever since there was this really cool skin made for relinking. It was the first of its kind. Then suddenly everyone started making relink skins too LOL

I think it is okay to classify it as a skin. But ya put in the effort. Don't just put in one line of coding and ask people to click on it.

Anyone could whip up a relink 'skin' within 5 minutes.
Then wouldn't everyone would be submitting thousands of skins, teehee.

Hmmm, relink skins don't require any of the Blogger codes.
So technically it's just a piece of HTML?

In everyway, a relink skin is a blogskin.
It sits happily on your blog, and it makes it look (hopefully) good.

erm i think if they are the sort of chim chim ones (like got flash animation) and all those cool cool stuff then is considered.
go search for an image and link me new blog to it =/= blogskin

I guess if it's creative and requires effort, yes it's counted. But if you're just putting a link and writing stupid words with nothing except a few lame pictures, it's not and these people can go jump off a building.

Relink pages are not considered as blogskins. But relink skins are, since its already called a relink skin =.= (Who coined this term?!?!?!) Anyhow, most relink skins prolly consist of an image and a link to the new blog. I don't think it actually allows you to practise your html blablabla. Looking at some of the replies, I gather that majority says no and some says maybe. Does putting in effort in a relink skin makes it a blogskin (if its not one to you?) ? What about non-relink skins?
