Sorry if u think i'm a kid.
But usually, How do you want to get to em2 or em1?
I'm totally confused right now.
D i need to pas my maths,sciences,english,mother tongue?
Or just The 3 base subjects?(no mothertongue.)
Please help me!! I need to know!! Even my parents don't know!!!

You have to apply for Higher Mother Tongue.
EM3 = Foundation English, Foundation Maths, Science, Mother Tongue (not sure about EM3)
EM2 = Math, Science, English, Mother Tongue
EM1 = Math, Science, English, Mother Tongue, Higher Mother Tongue
To apply for HMT, I think you need Band 1 or 2 for MT overall in P4. Sorry forgot liao, it's been a long time since I was P4

Uh EM1 is basically the cream classes (i think????).
I'm not sure about the HMT part. I recall one EM3 in my primary school who was terribly good at chinese and was in HMT. I was in a cream class, my chinese was one of the most terrible ever.

i was in em1 when i was pri 5 (last yr), i got band 2/3 fr mt, i didnt take hmt either. band 1 fr eng and band 2 fr both sci and math when i was pri 4.

I am p5. Now no EM1 EM2 liao.
There are a total of 4 subjects. U nid to pass 3 subjects to go 2nd class or u must get over 200/400. To go first class, u need pass all subjects and get over 300/400.
My school located at AMK is like that de. Im in 2nd class anyway.

but anyone knows when primary 5 last examinations must get wad score /400 to go 2nd class?

LOL? Shirleen (Timemachine) please stop misleading them? I don't know if Mr Hairul told you there is EM1 or 2 or 3 or anything, but there isn't such a thing anymore. P6 this year, past classmates with Timemachine, and I can tell you there's no such thing anymore.

Honestly, I don't remember any streaming when I was in Primary Sch.. at all. LOL.
It dosen't really matter. Just put in effort for your PSLE!

And there are only foundation no em1 nor em2. I'm in p4 now. Going to p5. taking higer mt any way

No more Em1 and Em2 i think? It's either you take fountation paper or you take 4 subjects or you take 5 subjects (which is HMT).
Agree with the rest as well,just focus on PSLE.

The government already stopped doing EMs and approved doing it the Foundation way like a year ago. If you fail a subject in your P5 SA2s, you have to take Foundation for P6. You will stop once you pass. And PSLE Foundation isn't good at all. If you get 90+ to 100 for foundation, it means that your marks for a standard PSLE is about a B or C only.
Luckily i'm not in Foundation. My school is also streaming by English. I got a B. I'm soo worried cause the first class English teacher said that i have a 50% chance of going to first class because of my Math and Chinese. I hate first class and will remain in 2nd class.
