  Totto Chan-Tetsuko Kuroyanagi
Book translated by Dorothy Britton.
It sounds childish but it is an awesome read. I haven't read finish the book but i was laughing at the first few pages only. Totto Chan is also seven, so she's really funny and mischievous. The first thing is, she got expelled from her school as she opened and closed the table too many times. Soo many times that the teacher got irritated. And she stood at the window throughout lessons looking out for street performers and inviting them in to perform. The teacher got sick of this cheeky girl.

Ger. Stilton is probably an all-time fave of primary school students. And yeah, Roald Dahl has adult fiction too.

Franny K.Stein? Scientific books. It's somehow rather for primary school students like us though.

I don't have much book recommendations though.

Yes, The Host was awesome. I teared up in many of the scenes but whatev.
Uh, I don't know if you would like it but personally I like Kate Brian, and her series Private.
You could give it a try if you like the typical female bitching and backstabbing I guess.

Vikas Swarup's Slumdog Millionaire (also known as Q & A)
Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner
Roald Dahl's The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More

There are a lot more short stories by Roald Dahl that targets an older audience which you may find easily at all major bookstores. Strongly recommended.

I read all kind of books but I like Meg Cabot and I think Meyer's stupid twilight saga is shit. Harry potter's much better. Hehe, maybe you might want to try reading Stephen King's books. ;__)

i said i didn't like it.. doesn't mean you'd not like it too alright? you talk like i'm some idiot dumbass who think a fabulous book is uninteresting. yes, i don't like the host. well i think that's my problem anyways.

plus, i think i like meg cabot's books too. :D
but some are really, seriously too girly.
i don't like those like "princess diaries" or whatever they are called; they are too girly for me. x.x
i'm more like a.. how to say.. boyish-girl.
not tomboy, but just.. like, i dress like a boy? or something.

and uhh.. there's this book called "13 little blue envelopes" by.. i forgot the author's name(sorry, i wasn't helping at all, LOL). i read it last week and find it really interesting.
it's about a girl whose aunt's dead and aunt sent her some letters, asking her to travel around europe with nothing at all. i mean, clothes yes. electronic devices, etc(things you use to communicate with others) are not allowed. so this girl went on some journey to help others.. and met some friends blah blah blah. don't know if anyone read it yet. O_O

but anyways. i really love reading books, too, so i'd be checking this thread quite frequently now. :D to see some recommendations. :D though.. erm.. i'm not a.. bookworm..? O_O

  Cecelia Ahern!

you might know her as the author of P.s I love you,
but there are many many great reads like the 2nd most recent The Gift,
talking about Christmas and people getting 2nd chances.
Another good one Where Rainbows end. its really awesome because it talks about
" From naughty children to rebellious teenagers, Rosie and Alex have stuck by each other through thick and thin. But just as as they're discovering the joys of teenage nights on the town and dating disasters, they're separated... "
it spans across decades but yet modern. Hope you like it:)
