i've had past accounts on blogskins.com. yeah, i'm a user from way back then when the blogskins focused on images and codes were simple and had no scripts. so of course i noticed the trend has changed. the blogskins now are mostly simple and image-less besides icons or banners with awesome-sauce scripts and codes. honestly, the codes used these days make me like a relic for some reason, lol. i like both type of skins, honestly!
so i just thought i should show some love to blogskins.com despite the advertisers and spammers! i still come to blogskins.com every day (don't judge me!) and i really love looking at the new blogskins. there's still so much talent no matter what people say!

i definitely won't mind if those image-based skins make a comeback. gosh, i especially love dawnoflights' skins.
if used properly, blogskins with lots of fancy script won't be messy. that's what i admire about those blogskins.

Same here. The first skins I made were really based on images. I used to still drool over xavqior's beautiful skins but I also like the minimalist skins (the "in" design) that are being submitted today! Yay

is it just me feels everyone didn't feels the navis skin using scripts for change that? lol random.
btw, sometimes I mixed a simple css theme with (half-heavy) script, like my new layout: www.blogskins.com/info/383546/ (<-- shameless selfpromo)
tbh I miss Fion's creativity like "polaroid-star-fahrenheit" theme, sure it's so hard to make. And xavqior's pretty illustrations header. And old theme which like the notebook or diary. I miss it.

I agree with Jack's hand, I think Dawnoflights's skins are just so breathtaking, the colours match and the patterns + textures just...wow.
