OKAY FINE WHATEVER . I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START -__-;;
I'M ONLY NEW USER HERE BUT SOMETIME I GOT ANNOYED BY "SOME" BLOGSKINNER(CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG) THAT ALWAYS SUBMIT THE SAME SKIN HERE, I MEANS SKIN THAT LOOK ALIKE . WHAT IS BASECODE ? IT'S MEAN LIKE SHARING CODE HUH ?

I don't care at all about rant threads. It's your opinion and you can do whatever you want because it's the internet and it mostly doesn't affect me, but you should have just left it at "some blogskinners".
Okay, yeah, those skins might not be SOTD worthy, but there's no reason to single them out.
Those girls are new to skinning, and we all have some things we aren't proud of. I go back through my old drawings and essays and I weep at how absolutely horrible they are.
TL;DR No one masters a single skill on their first try. It takes time and patience and practice. No need to victimize a few people.

@aurevoirdarling : i think those newbies that submit that kind of 'simple' skin are probably MALAYSIANS . i think maybe ?
@mrs-redx : you should leave them alone . Actually , not only you feel annoyed with those newbies , i'm feel the same on the first time but i think it's useless . People might get hurt if you being too honest and they might think that you're 'overreact' . You don't have any skins to say something like this . How about you try to submit your own skin ? just saying

@nєthєrdrαkє: what makes you think the newbies are Malaysian only? and you didn't have to put such an emphasis on 'Malaysian'. it doesn't even matter what country they're from, they're probably from everywhere anyway, not just Malaysia. blogskins.com is a global website, isn't it?
and i don't think the skinners who submit the 'same-type' skins mean any harm.

@Jacks'_hands: I know that blogskins is a global website. Don't be too sensitive , I don't hate Malaysia or racist. I know they are newbies and i don't hate them. I don't care where they are from or anything kind of skin that they make . I'm sorry if what i'm saying just hurt you and others .

Agree with winterfell.
but, the mainstream "why-ask-for-rate-back" reasons just two. one: just for SOTD; and two: for some constructive comments. but honestly I hate the blogskinner who rate the skins low but no reason / the reason is misunderstanding(?). sorry for bad english.

I agree with 우산 about the "rate back/mine" thing. I don't do it here for my account but I do it for my other account (the one where I post my experimental skins or something) because I'm in need of constructive criticism and I believe that's why most of the skinners do it too.
About the repetitive style of skinning.. well, I do understand that they are still newbies but I think some of them have made a lot of those kinds of skins and maybe they should be trying to explore something new now(?) Maybe change a little bit? I don't mean to offend anybody here. Just saying Sorry if ever I have offended anybody especially those skinners we are talking about here. Really sorry guys. :/

i'm kind of disappointed bec most of the skins were made by malaysians to be honest. plus, seeing skins like those getting sotds are somewhat disturbing to me. it's as if they used the same codes, changed the backgrounds, banners, sidebar photos and voila, they have a new skin and they post them here. the cycle repeats over and over.
for now, we should just probably leave them alone. maybe they'll get bored with that type of skinning and move on :c
*i'm not trying to tick malaysians off or something (hey i'm a malaysian too lol), this is just my opinion.

If you notice, the comments are all the same. Basically they copy & paste the same thing on all skins like "Like " or "SOTD!" and then "Rate mine ////" which is pretty annoying. If you want us to rate back, at least take time to type in induvidualised comments!

but sometimes something disturbing me about ' ask-to-rate-back' .
