Introduction:
Though the competition name is 'THE POLAROID COMPETITION', the theme i first though of is memories, but 'THE MEMORIES COMPETITION' sounds weird doesn't it? So I decided to call it what i called it. So anyway, I don't restrict it to only memories, but only be something linked to Polaroids.
Your skin must have something to do with:
1 Polaroids
2 Memories in a Polaroid
I don't need both to be in, just one.
I THINK THIS IS QUITE EASY THOUGH.
Rules:
1. Credit every resource to their exact location, not only to the site itself, especially the image
1.1 Basecodes are to be creditted.
1.3 Fonts for the image MUST be creditted as well, font name must also be provided.
2. Submit it to BLOGSKINS.COM, if not it will be marked out as void.
2.1 This banner must be included in the description of your skin, if not it would be marked out as void ( Just linking it to the image location is also alright )

2.2 The skin type must be BLOGGER MAIN, and preview must be available, if there is a preview error, please provide a live demo, or the preview error in the site is the one we will be looking at.
2.3 The is no limit to entries you submit.
3. Skins submitted for this purpose can also be submitted for other competitions.
4. SOTD and NON-SOTD makes no difference in the judging of the skin.
5. Ripped skins would be reported.
6. Image quality would NOT be counted in the judging criteria.
7. You MAY NOT resubmit your skin that has been submitted before 11/03/2008.
8. You must post your blogskin URL or blogskin ID number here otherwise, it would be marked out as void.
Marks Allocation
1. THEME - 20 marks
1.1 The skin must follow the theme.
1.2 As long as there is something to do with polaroid or memories, marks would not be deducted.
2. CODES - 20 marks
2.1 The blogskinner ability to get the color of the title, bold, underline, strikethrough, link, itallic to fit to the whole theme and color of the image.
2.2 The blogskinner ability to get the codes in a neat format that those who don't know html will even understand.
3. DESIGN -50 marks
3.1 The designer ability to collage the different pictures or one picture to fit nicely like a jigsaw puzzle into the blogskin.
3.2 The right color combination.
3.3 Organisation skill of the designer to format the skin to look neat
4. EFFORT - 10 points
4.1 The way we observe from the cutting and pasting of the pictures into one blogskin if you are doing one.
4.2 The codes are done up with great effort like writing on your own, starting it out from scratch.
4.3 Quality of the work with their limited resources
4.4 Their SOAB Skills.
Significance / tructure / ufficent
How is your skin good in signifying the topic you are covering on? the Structure/layout design is considered as well. Is the structure of the code good? Is there sufficent related to topic-coverage?
Organisation
Basically how you organize the layout the format, the codes the way information is listed, how you start the entry column, the header, style.
Attractiveness
What we judge is based on how well you attract people with the TITLE/ SCHEME/ LAYOUT or even the codes. and the picture (with limited softwares on hand).
Bold
The boldness of your design, not highlighting to bold in your normal document context, but how differnt it outstands from the other designs. how well you tried to do your pictures, maybe a different style, and of course how you put your point across to the blogskin-user. freshness of your idea, originality.
4.5 Basically this is what it means by SOAB and effort. is this clear enough?

URM...
YOU'RE NOT, MY ISS ASKED THAT TOO.
GO TO DL'S PAGE AND GO TO HER SKIN 'BEING IN LOVE'. THE THING THAT IS SURROUNDING THE IMAGES ARE POLAROIDS ( I THINK LARH, CAN CHECK THE DICTIONARY FOR CONFIRMATION.

YES, SOI PUT IN A WEEK+ IN THE JUNE HOLS. AND I LIKE I SAID, IT COULD BE SUBMITTED IN EITHER A POLAROID OR ABOUT MEMORIES. AND LIKE YOU SAID, MEMORIES IN THE FORM OF POLAROIDS.
