Is using only brushes on the skin something that's bad?

quite... cuz there's no originality. but on the other side, it's quite good if the effect comes out to be very beautiful, since it tells about your creativity.
ORIGINALITY & CREATIVITY~ LOL (reminded me of the criteria of the nonnavi comp.)

I think it means just throwing meaningless redundant brushes in & making it look ugly.
Which I am quite guilty of ):

it is just showing that your work isn't your effort.
unless the brushes are created by yourself.
