How do you feel when people scold you "idiot"?

i have never been scolded seriously... like they really mean it... unless its my parents..
most of the time when my friend says "idiot" its just -________-" nothing really serious..

I do feel rather sad inside my heart. But after a while, you would just forget about it.
You should never let other people comments to take over you.
Treat it like it never happened.

Man! - Don't get so disturbed just by people calling you an idiot. It's just one of the best and most gentle insults anyone can get, I mean it, considering the kind of people we have around us.
I've been called worse ones - Sissy, Fatso, Fatty, Goondoo, Gay.

Yeah, I've been called that lots of times, but usually in a joking way. Besides, one of my friends pronounces idiot as "idiyot", so it's more of a joke than an insult, regardless of how she intends it to be. I agree with LoveStoned (:
