Umm... I was in Blogskins for about 1.5 years.
In which half of the time there I was inactive (never visit).
Since all of you said that Blogskins has really changed?
How has it?

i was around during the 1st war. but wasnt really talking, then.
anyway, lol. the way the people communicate and make friends with each other is totally different now.

Changes in blogskins
I am going to be creative here, so read well
1. In the past, Blogskiners is a place for Americans designer
Just take a few minutes to read the first post in blogskin.
2. In the past, before the invasion of Singaporeans.
Blogskins is united together. In terms of spirit.
I think we are disgracing ourself by creating so.much war.
Don't keep thinking of yourself, maybe yours think that forum are read by us.
But what if our countries are reading, what will they feel about Singapore. If we are here fighting to get across our views
What will they be thinking about us.
3. Sometimes a bit of this ok, but don't get too seriously please.
Time to stop our nonsense and be UNITED. That how we can deal, with all those spammers and flamers.
Stop please. I get enough of it.

lmao i didn't even know there were wars in Blogskins until i came upon this forum. but you know what? Blogskins changed so much because old blogskinners left, and new blogskinners (new, then) came over and slowly learnt impressive blogskinning skills.
now that dl/lyricaltragedy wants to leave, this will cause another drastic change in Blogskins. i said it already, dl/lyricaltragedy is like a part of Blogskins - all those SOTDs, being an FC; that's not something everybody can accomplish. so what if other blogskinners didn't like you being FC, didn't like you winning SOTDs?
fact is, you won the SOTDs, won FC. and if you leave, Blogskins WILL change drastically.
regarding change in Blogskins, it's just the whole design thing and the whole community thing. i guess if you compare the attitude of previous skinners and present ones, they're really different. but yeah, we shouldn't keep harping on the fact that old skinners shouldn't have left.
reality check - THEY LEFT. of their own accord, nobody started a petition or campaign for them to leave. and although we're sad and all, we can't do anything about it now. they LEFT.

i agree once the old skinners left,blogskins have changed,be it good or bad.
previously,there were lots of substandard skins(not that im implying mine's nice) and a few outstanding ones from the same few skinners.but now more and more people are becoming more tech-savvy using photoshop,GIMP,etc etc,thus improving skins quality.
but there has also been more arrogant rippers lately.

Blogskins changed for the better because people are bringing in new ideas and codes and stuff. There are fantastic new people, well not new but could have been inactive in the past but more active now (ie xavqior, lix, hilary). And most importantly the forum is generally friendlier and lacking of the elitism thing, there were a lot of hostility towards new skinners not too long ago.

Everything needs to have a change, the old goes away, the later ones come in. In fact it is one of the rules of this society that we are living in.
Either we adapt to it, or we drown.
