Does anyone think there is a time that is best to submit a skin?
Like I mean if you submit a skin at 11.59pm, your chances of getting a SOTD is like... 0.00001%
Just opinions really. ;D

You have like the entire 2 days to get downloads, faves and ratings.

I submit them at 12 am anyway

hmm im also wondering.
there was this period when detonatedlove was posting a thread saying that she's leaving and stuff. people got so caught up in the forums that there were less ratings and favs the next few days.
nonetheless, i think suday afternoons would be good. (:
and NEVER on saturday afternoons

Maybe during holidays, submitting skins at night will have people commenting.
But on normal days like this, submit during afternoon, especially in weekends. Many people will comment cause they are FREE.
Okay la, depends. LOL.

getting SOTD isn't about the time of submission, but about whether people enjoy using your skins and whether people love it.

i don't really know exactly how it works. but i think the number of faves is afactor. along with ratings.

but, really, if you submit at 11.59, not only can't you get an SOTD, people only have 1 mere minute to comment rate fave and download your skins.

In th afternoon lots of ppl make skins,, so ur chances of getting ur skin in th all skins list on th main page izz rather lil. So ii prefer evening (Byy tt time ii off9 liao =.=)

I submit at about 5 pm.
Hey why not let's do this? - Let us state the period of when we usually are commenting and rating skins.
So next time we can refer to the times here to deduce what time we should submit.

O.o it's how you look to it.
11.59pm is a confirm nuh uh, as it is just a minute before a new day (aka new SOTD on 12am).
Random time, if you submit around morning - afternoon, it's when many skinners submit theirs, so your submission on the 'Recently' added would be gone within the time span of 10minutes, or so.
Mid-afternoon to night, for my opinion?

Lol I always submit between 8 to even 2AM.
Cause that's the time I'm online -_-
And yeah, it's about the ratings and favourites la.

taadaaa!: Don't really understand you? Getting SOTD usually depends on when you submit it. Are you saying... "getting SOTD is whether people enjoy using your skins and whether people love it." Yes well if people enjoy using your skin and if they love it, then you'll probably get SOTD. Wth seriously. Thanks for rating my skin 0.5 stars without even checking if it's true or not. Really meaningful. ;D

I agree with thesockparody. I submit at random times, too. I don't really care, I guess o.o
But yeah, I think the time when you submit your skin is also a factor for getting SOTD, but I don't know which is the best, lol.

i agree that sometimes the time DOES matter, but if SOTD is about looking at the time you submit and not so much on the quality of the skin, WHAT THE H**L IS SOTD FOR?

taadaaa! ; bro, calm your nerves mate. if a good quality skin is submitted at 11.59pm, it's not really gonna get sotd is it? but if the quality isn't good and it's submitted at the time when people are most on then it's still not gonna get sotd is it? because nobody's going to fave download etc on them so seriously don't over react it's just an opinion.

FYI : if its submitted at 11.59, it'll be a next day (: Like E.g the SOTD for today is like , 14 April. But if you submit it at 11.59, its like, 15 April . If im not wrong. So yes, who cares.

apparently i sub at night so i can see who subbed and i am free ONLY at night
