the preist has a jacuzzi ,lap pool ect ect
and there's monks
yes I am a protestant thats why I'm so freaked out

LOL YAY THE PARANORMAL!
The Paranormal really reminds me of scary things like The Sounds of Hell. People figured the sounds by the waves are quite true, made by lots of people. It really freaked me out and made me become very frightened about morbid stuffs.
If you haven't heard the sounds of hell, you SHOULDN'T, unless you're really very daring. It really sounds very very, very horrifying. I heard a portion of it and stopped and got a big shock. It can be found in youtube.

It happened when I was young. I was sleeping during the night and I had a nightmare:
I found myself on a moving escalator in a lit shopping center, where all the shops were closed. I was sitting on the step and saw black apparitions floating around, I was frightened...
I forgot the others. When I woke up, for a second I felt nothing beneath my back. That means I could've been floating above the bed. For a second I landed on my bed. The feeling was... eerie. I was young that time so I couldn't really make any paranormal references to it, so I wasn't really that frightened. But in hindsight, it really was very scary.
The feeling was vivid, I really didn't think it was a hallucination. I think it's called Out-Of-Body Experience (OBE). But I don't know if a body existed below me too.
If I'm not wrong I only had this dream once. But I had a lot of other dreams that came to haunt me as nightmares. I dreamed the same things, the interval between the two similar dreams was about one year. It was like just like deja vu:
In one of the dreams, I was attacked by a monster, I was escaping from it. I was struggling.
I could not remember a lot.
It somehow is related to one of the days I had a high fever last year. I remembered I was really suffering under the sun, since I had to walk to the hospital and go back from there by foot.
When I came back, after I took my medicine, I remembered I slept on my bed with my face down. From that point of time onwards, I felt like I was possessed. I remembered feeling I was a monster squeezing my pillow below. I don't know why I'd feel like that. It somehow had some relations with my emotions.
Then from that point of time, I really don't know if I was dreaming or really doing so, especially the part where I knelt down before God (I had religious beliefs last time), asking for some concern near my balcony. I felt there was no reply, and I actually felt the vivid feeling of wearing my slippers, preparing to go to the highest floor of my block.
Of course I knew I was contemplating suicide. But I really don't know if it was a dream or a real thing. It just felt so real.
I had another recurring dream too. It pictured me stuck in a very confined place, like a changing room in a boutique. I could see the outside was a countryside. I was struggling. I felt that I was locked.
I can't emember much.
Sometimes I think all these paranormal experiences I have actually mean something, especially the recurring dreams. I actually would like to dream about that again, but in my teenage years, it never ever happened again...

One friend told me that when he was young, he could see 2 floating figures; 1 black, 1 white. They'd follow him around and when he was not looking, they'd mutter incomprehensibly, as though trying to tell him something. He also said that they'd grow with him, having the same height as his all the time when they were with him.
Another friend told me that when she like, 5 or so she saw a potianak; though she didn't know it was called so then. It was at night and she got up for some reason, and she saw the potianak in the kitchen. Long, raven hair covering the face, the white dress - the usual description. She ran back into her bedroom, freaked out.
Last year another class had a class chalet, and they took photos and one had an.. extra person in it. And some of them on the second floor saw a girl outside the window. There was no possible support outside. They circulated the photo but they all eventually deleted it 'cause someone told them the ghost would follow whoever had the photo/s.

I have never had any personal paranormal experiences. i am thankful for it, but that also makes me very skeptical.
The closest I've ever got to anything 'paranormal' was a dream. I was 6 or 7 then. I dreamt that I entered a moderately packed elevator, and while it was moving, something suddenly malfunctioned. and it started like, rushing down. And when it seemingly reached the bottom I just woke up, shocked. It felt so real, I could feel the impact and the gravity and everything. It's similar to when you're on a roller coaster and it's going down. Your heart just feels like it's going up your throat.
While on the topic of dreams, (yet) another friend told me that her dad had a birthmark on his back. Then one day he had a dream that he was some kind of solider doing battle or something, and an arrow shot his back. At the very same place he has the birthmark.
I've also got friends sharing with me their dreams on jumping off buildings and all... makes me wonder if the events in those dreams are actually how we died in our past lives. And that those who die natural deaths like old age or something move on. Those who don't, get reincarnated. Well, that's just a theory though.

When I was around 11.
I had a weird dream.
I dreamed that my mum born me at a hospital [the dream is like negative color uhhs]
derh i was put in a separate room&the room only got me ONLY!
and the more weird is there is a black-white television above me.
derh suddenly two ghost come out.
then,
I cant breathe.
and i feel my heart had stopped.
[below is my dad&elder sister told me]
they say i keep putting my hand on my throat[like when u see on the tv , people want to suffocate you de method]
then, i wake up, i told my family about the dream.
and after that dream, i got a very high fever.
and feel tat i cant breathe.
then, my grandma bring me to de temple.
then, the ppl say got spirit want my life blabla.
say tat my life can help them do wadeva thing.
after that.
i always, open the light on[super bright] before i sleep or just simply on the television when i using computer when all people had slept.
i now still very scare uhhs.

Lol, I don't believe in ghosts and stuff. But Jeremy, I've experienced the same thing you did a lotta times. You know, the one where you feel like you suddenly landed on the ground/bed/whatever when actually, you've been lying there all along. I've also experienced sudden chills, you know? Like, when you won't be doing anything, but suddenly a shiver will run through you?
Is that considered paranormal? Lol. The only paranormal things I see are when I watch Martin Mystery :]

i've experience tonnes of nightmare i dunno why... and a couple of times its the case like jeremy's i had a nightmare a few days ago also... it felt so real.
In my dream i was sleeping. In the same place where i was really sleeping that time... i dreamt that i had a nightmare -_- like wth.
In my dream's dream i was a traveler, i was kinda trying to find out the mystery and stuff? Me and a few anonymous went to a place. It looks like a village. Things were fine at first and then it went all wrong. The weathers were changing and those really creepy things was happening i feel as if the dark was trying to swallow me.... But the thing is i knew it was a dream and i was trying to wake up from the nightmare in my dream. So in my dream i was struggling, kind of out of breath, my mom who was sleeping beside me in the dream was freak out because i was like strangling myself and choking? I tried to scream but nothing came out.
I woke up with a sudden jerk and i was really trying to scream and it took me a few seconds later to get my voice out. oh well - - crappy experience for me... i was in cold sweat and shivering like - -"

I used to have this scary habit on bed. My whole body will occasionally jolt (shake), just like how people do when their epilepsy problem works up, especially my legs.
Then there will be this surge running through, like what hurricanecat described.
I looked it up in the Internet. I think it's a sickness, not something paranormal. Anyone knows about it?
There was one day when I was just landing into sleep - my eyes pictured to me a scene where my dad and mum left me in a cart and immediately a dog bit my left hand. I remembered how frightened I was when the dog was raging onto me. When it bit me, I suddenly landed into a state of immobility, I could not move, but I could see. It was only after a long second my body regained its mobility, enabling me to move. I was, shocked. The feeling was real, as if the bite was really lethal.

i think i saw one before. i'm not sure whether i really saw it, cant remember.
it was when i was living in my old house, forgot when.
early in the morning, i just wake up, the door just in front of my bed, outside is the living room, there's like this white figure moving for the right to the left. really scary.
dont know much, but i heard either my school, or the school beside mine is haunted.
oh yes, and the house i before lived in was a cemetery.

oh man this is freaky... like damn freaky.
i don't think i've experienced anything paranormal and i'm glad for that.
and 狂然怪異, the thing about taking awhile to ragain mobility sounds like sleep paralysis.
oh and lucid dreaming can be learnt. which basically means you can learn to tell when you're in a dream and hence be able to control some of the people, place, what happens, etc.

I think one of the freakiest events that ever happened for real was when a bat flew into my living room while I was peacefully using my laptop and I screamed, "OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!" and ran into my brother's room shouting that there was a bat in the house.
Sorry, not really paranormal but yes, what's the chance of having a bat flying into your house?

but it used to have bats trying to fly through the foyer
there would be like knocks when it hit the glass

Gee... My Muslim friends asked me to help them watch a religious video regarding on Grave Punishment. The video was really scary, I had to listen 93.3 FM while turning off the sound of the video completely  They wanted me to type whatever that's on the video LOL. And they were like O_O
There was a corpse wrapped with white cloth jolting more and more hardly through the video by time. They said he was "beaten" in Hell...
OMG.
And yeah, regarding on the Sounds of Hell thing, IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD IT, YOU SHOULD NEVER HEAR IT, NEVER, I'M SERIOUS
It might be fake but... it really sounds very scary and... frightening.
It was said some Russians explorers wanted to hear the sounds from the core of the Earth (maybe not, hundreds of kilometres below Earth I think). So they dipped a long long long long sound recorder below the earth and was appalled to hear screams and shouts from thousands of people.
Even the description sounded fake, but the sound really sounded omg...
Never dare to hear it. The SPI (Singapore Paranormal Investigators) investigated the sounds and said that the sounds really contained thousands of people's screams and shouts, according to the sound waves.

Okay so here is my story.
I'm not really that certain, but definitely.. a living person will not disappear into mid-air right?
Okay so last week, I left my aunt's house for school around 7 15am.
My aunt's living in a corner unit, so I'll have to walk down one storey to the level which has a lift lobby.
As I walked down the corridor of the level that has a lift, I saw a lady in green walking out from the apartments around the corner.
But when I reached the lift lobby, waiting for the lift, another lady in brown came from the same direction as the lady in green and came to the lift lobby.
I am absolutely certain that no one took the stairs nearest to the lift lobby.
There was only the lady in brown and I present at the lift lobby.
So, where was the lady in green?

hahaha my boyfriend (so to be.. ROAR!)
went to OCH (Old Changi Hospital), they were a bunch of really daring people, though they were already trambling like earthquake they still stay there until early 6-7 am in the morning. they walked around, tied red strings together so they wont get lost.
they saw ALOT of stuffs, until finally the guy beside my bf suddenly dissapear, & the red string? someone cut it off.
they finally found him at the staircase vomitting, but they still carried on while that friend went out cause he cannot take it anymore. they continued walking only to find a small boy talking to them, he said :
"lets play hide & seek"
oh no, you CANNOT RUN. because if you run, you DIE for sure. so they had no choice but to play, the boy has no head at all, so they count to 10 & they all went to hide, whenever the boy find them they go back to the same place they met the ghost & play again, the ghost wants to play them till the death...
hahahah thats it! he havent told me everything will update again ahahaha 
scary not? i still got ALOT leh, wait for BS outing okayyy?

Even if one wears flats, there will definitely be sounds of footsteps right?
But there weren't.
So how did you explain it?

hah, my friend say most of her family members could see those "figures" so they found it quite normal.
and my friend bro went to the OCH (Old Changi Hospital) and the OMH (Old mental Hospital). He kind of like say OMH is much scarier. and my friend told me that his bro actually could not see those "figures" but after he went the OMH& OCH, he could see "them". yeah, and they kind of have some kind of bad experience there like the "figures" were clinging onto their legs. yeah.
and my other friend actually wanted to explore the OCH during chalet but her father don't allow cause he was like saying after you enter "they" might play with you and dont want to let you leave.

i used to have those dreams when you felt you dropped from the ceiling and landed flat on your bed as well. erm i dont really think its OBE actually maybe it's more like sudden muscle contraction or something.
i once saw that happen to my brother in bed, it's actually just like a sudden jerk through your body.
and about the old changi hospital, my friends are going there to create a documentary for their language arts film making. beat that. lol it's going to be uber scary lah.
they said that standing at some points you could hear particular sounds, but if you stepped out you wouldnt hear it anymore. hha
