Mainly for P6s this year who are taking PSLE. 
But of course any sec students can come and "advert" their school here. Lol!
I was wondering, what school do you want to go to?
I want to go to NYGH or MGS.
Andand, any other good school that's easy to get to from Clementi?
I'm willing to go as far as where NYGH or MGS is. Lol.
Should I consider Commonwealth?

Okay, Methodist Girl's is really not bad. It's really good I think.
However I think the standards would be a little lower than schools like DHS as it's an affiliated school.

Affiliated schools lower their cut-off for the students in the affiliated primary school only, I thought?
And NUS High requires:
- 250+
- A* Maths
- A* Science
I think so, or is that the DSA requirements. O_O
Plus, DHS is on the other side of the island next year, I think.
For now, it's somewhere around Holland.

Yeah that's why, when they lower, more pupils from the primary school can enter and the standards of their PSLE is lower than those who get in unaffiliated. So it kinda rocks the boat a little. But the school's still very good.
What about River Valley High? lol.

Oh great, the good schools are Chinese schools. Meh.
NYGH is mandatory HMT, and RV, I'm not sure.
But my Chinese is barely there.

Cheena people in my school (the real ones) are the noisy, make-a-lot-of-trouble people. O:

CHIJ St Nicholas Girls School 
It's a mix of both english and chinese. Hahaha.
And it has like a mixture of good and bad students (academically)
On the whole, I think the people here are kinda friendly. Just mix around with the right people.
The only problem is that we're moving to braddell there next year. -.-

Hahah it depends on your score lah.
Maybe you can consider NHHS or RiverValley, but you must tie plaits to school, lol.
But if your score high you can go for NYGH.

haha th easiest is,since you know what you want,put those as your top choices and the remainder anyhow choose lor.besides,if u choose smartly,you wont get into th last few choices

i just realised that its hard to get from clementi to ang mo kio. Oh well.
Anyways, I think you should look at your results first then choose a school.
Like, before PSLE, I wanted to get into either NYGH or RGS.
But my results were too lousy to get into those schools so I went to St Nicks instead.

A BIG NO-NO TO COMMONWEALTH. IT'S A SUPER UNFAIR AND CONSERVATIVE SCHOOL.
You are hearing this from a student from Commonwealth Secondary School student.
If you really want to join this school, erm, it's good if you are not those kind of students who love to leave long fringe, wear lots of accessories, dye hair etc. If you are, you'd better not join this school because it's super strict.
And if you happen to join this school, NEVER JOIN CLUBS AS CCA, THE SCHOOL TREATS CLUBS LIKE SHIT.

although it's affiliated it's only for those from the primary school, and i'm not from the primary school, unfortunately.
but oh szeling!
MGS IS LIKE, what can i say, IT'S SO FUN HERE!
st.nics is not bad too, but MGS is FUN-er.
and plus, our uniform is one-of-a-kind.
yvon once said our uniform very nice, and that it looked like sailormoon.
oh szeling i tell you, PLEASE COME TO MGS IF YOU CAN YEAH!!!!!!
but first, study hard
every week got test one okay.
and if i can i will organize the sec one orientation for next year, because i'm sec 3. haha
oh and SZELING, MGS is super not cheena, so over here the chinese is........ hmm.

i had initially wanted to go to dunman high or NYGS,
but its so far from my house so it's TRANSPORT PROBLEM.
so im considering RGS or Victoria,
cause i dont wanna stress myself out again and take o lvl.

I agree with cushee.
Transport is important too.
You can't go to a school to far from home.
Like me, I can't do finsh my work in time because of the time taken to travel back home.

Get the score b4 choosing the sch.
Just took my PSLE last year.
Wanted to go Nan Hua but my score too low. Lol.
U shld consider nan hua or NUS High.
Btw, I think River Valley's shifting to Boon Lay.
Ohyea, the requirement for NUS High last yr was 250 with A* maths and A* maths.
My ex-classmate got exactly that score but could'nt get in.
So he went to Nan Hua instd. LOL.

Meh, Commonwealth is okay what, Jeremy!
I think dying one's hair is uber unhealthy for your hair & scalp. 
And long fringes = cannot see properly.
And accessories meaning? Lol.
I think maybe Nanhua, but not too keen.
And actually you should have some expectation for yourself first right?
Don't last minute choose school, so mo ming qi miao.

Because I'm in a neighbourhood pri sch, so my school don't really sift out the excellent ones.
I mean, in my school only got 5 P6 classes (w/o the EM3s) and other schools can have 10. O:
So, there's tough competition with other students too what.
That means I have to make proper choices, and not just any shit school I can think of. Meh.
Definitely going for MGS or NYGH.
Transport is a big issue for me.
I don't want to wake up too early. (I'm already waking up at 5.45am daily)

After you come to sec school you will have so many things to think about and will forget the distance from your school to your house.
I liek Canberra sec's campus. It looks big.
