  I always use image maps for navigations. I didn't learn how to make text into navigations.

If I'm not wrong, the "name" attribute and its value are necessary within the area tags for the image map to work in Mozilla Firefox.

  Division layers can't work alone to become navigational. You need a script of course to transit between the layers. You also need to make use of intrinsic events like onmouseclick, I think.

  Put the script, if the script points to the div "main", set the layer where you put all your blog, profile, etc. under the layer id "main". That's important.
For the navis, you can use div span blah blah. Use styles to edit it also can. But there must be an onClick function so it would work. For example, profile navi onClick="changeNavigation('profile') right, so your div layer for profile shd be [div id="profile" style="display: none;"].
Lol. =_=

  LOL HILARY, I wouldn't understand it if I were a beginner.

I managed to understand those codes by experimenting.
