Hello everybody!
I have a project and I want to share it with other designers.
I want to create a website or a blog that will purpose some skins for blogger users.
OK, you'll say that I want to create a new little blogskins.com, but it's not my purpose. I just want to create an efficient site with very nice codes.
I saw lots of sites or blogs with this subject and I only noticed classical galleries (like blogger-templates.blogspot.com). There is a lot of choice but it's too classical.
My dream is to create a website like evokeone.com/ for blogger skins (with those wonderful pics).
Another time, I don't want to create an other blogskins.com. This site is marvelous and in this case it's like deviantart.com, not a gallery owned by independants.

I'm just a beginner, and I think making skins for blog is like doing Artwork. But I appreciate lots of kinds of arts.
So, what do you think about this project?
It won't take a lot of time, only pleasure

Hey! It sounds really cool, and like what audac!ty♥ said, it would be made better if you could include LJ and xanga layouts too!
How exactly are you going to go about creating this site? Are people supposed to submit their layouts to you or will you be compiling them?

Glad that you all like the concept.
Seriously, it's just an idea for now, but I'm really motivated to realize it.
Now, I want to do a website like evokeone.com/. That is to say, I don't want the people to submit their art to the website. It would be ridiculous to create another blogskins.com. I want to set up an efficient group that will offer nice and creative layouts.
Of course, if some people will want to join us, he just would have to show us what he has done before.
The layouts will be obviously accessible for free. I think about a presentation similar to evokeone.com/ for {blogger, xanga or else...} skins.
But, if you have any interesting suggestions (like audacity's one). I can easily adapt my plans.
For the people interested, we can continue the discussion on a googlegroup or a chatroom. It should easier and better than pollute blogskins' forum, don't you think  ?

and, oh yea I forgot!
It will above all a nice opportunity for young people to show their work to perhaps be put "out of the shadow" .

Which chatroom or googlegroup (Idk what this is? xD) were you thinking of using?

thx for congratulating onefellswoop . I didn't know you on blogskins.com. I love your work, you've got your own style, and I like that. I want diversity.
@mya; I know you buddygirl, it's ok ! I love your work and your opinions about some other user's job.
I don't have lot of time at the moment and I won't be able to use any computers til next monday. I did a forum where you can post your ideas and continue this conversation at this address. http://art-skins.omgforum.net/
It's very simple, you just have to subscribe and post. In it, there's also a chatroom, so that you can chat easily and fastly.
This forum isn't configured yet. I'll do it later.
I don't want to be a boss. You can post any ideas you want and discuss between you. I'll look at it very soon!
