I don't think I have any best friend. Only a couple of good friends, I guess.
They're okay but I don't really confide in them or anything.
And it's like sometimes we're close, sometimes we don't really talk. But we still hang out together.
I hope to have just one friend, that I can trust and would always understand me.
And be there for me no matter under what circumstances.
Anyone has a best friend? You must be very fortunate, really.

i used too.but then cos we went to different secondary schools,our friendship waivered.we may be close but not as close as before 
life is crappy.

i dont have much friends, but i do have one or two good humans whom i can confide in.
and i have one very good and crazy friend, i call him soya sauce ! (:

I don't really have best friends.
I just have really close friends.
Well, I've got this friend who's still really close to me, from Primary school, about when we were 9, until today. Which is pretty cool. Cause we're like Sec 3 now.
I used to think Mayann was probably one of my best friends.
But now I think she doesn't like me that much.

i understand that feeling all too well.
and it never wants to go away.
and sometimes,idk if you all feel that too,but i feel that my friends are just using me.and its driving me insane.

hmm i have to agree.people are too busy slogging their guts out in JC.its kinda like a me-first attitude,correct me if im wrong,but my school,or rather my class has that attitude

I have one wholly best friend I've known since I was 9. We trust each other wholeheartedly and have never had any fall-outs or any genuine quarrels for 3 years. Personally I think it's a real feat all on its own. I keep suggesting to her our children should marry each other and thus we shall be officially related! How wonderful.

I have a few and one whom i treasure alot... that friend more like a sister had been by my side since I'm four and we are friends for 13 years [: we are neighbors in the past but she moved away... but its not that bad we msn and talk to each other every two days or so... and we meet up to go out during the holidays... shes always the one who wishes me happy birthday at 12am [: pretty cool huh ^^
And theres still others who came into my life in my secondary school years... this particular person who sit beside me and rant with me all the time lol... we talk the lamest things in the world... to the very serious kind of thing... shes the one who points out my mistakes and im glad she does so... they say people who does that are true friends right?

I don't really define whats best friends mean to me.
That mean I don't set the standard that I want
Different people might have different thoughts, you never know when he/she is leaving you, angry at you for simple issue, talk behind your back.

Then, they are not called best friends, they are called backstabbers.
I've been through the i-dont-have-friends period.
So im very thankful that i finally have besties.
Although now we hardly contact each other and i kind of feel insecure because of that, but i know when we get together, everything would be fine again.
I cant trust sec friends. No matter how hard i try, i find it hard to 'upgrade' them into my besties.
God made us best friends because our moms couldnt handle us as sisters. That's my defination of best friends.

I think it's hard to find a friend who knows every little secret.
In one way or another, you're bound to backstab each other in some way.
What's the definition of a best friend anyway?
A friend who will be with you through ups and downs?
A friend who keeps your secrets to herself?
It's hard to get a best friend like that.
No one with be there for you forever except yourself.
For all you know, your best friend might be the one secretly gossiping about you behind your back. Hurhur.
My school has taught me not to trust people too much.

different people have different meaning for best friend, even dictionaries did not define it, its up to us to judge it.
I use the word brothers instead of best friends
However, as I say, brothers can have different meaning too
haha

i got good friends too. We usually went out together as a clique, but nope, i don't really have one whom i really trust there. and the problem with clique is that there may be numourous backstabbings going on. sigh.

Haha i trusted a friend and told her some private stuff, and the next day the guy she liked knew about it already and came to ask me. Wtf.

some people have v best friend. I have even come to a blog that give comment on friends. Or even have a friend of a year contest. Then he/she will put down the names.
