lets talk about studies.
History better or geography better or literature?
Amath better or emath and you simply love both
Any sciences you prefer the most?
for those streaming this year, you can make your choice now haha
haha; for me, I like history.
History is very fun for me. But it gets boring when the teachers bring the black tapes for us to watch. Any way History is far easier for me to study haha
just asking, any one taking f&n or d&t?, coz' I hate nutrients

I LOVE A MATHS & BIOLOGY! YEAAAAAAAAH!LOL.
i hate emaths & lit cos our textbook is borrrinnnngggg.

history is alot of content but the story is really interesting 
geography is alright. im taking pure geography, consists of physical and human.
you need to read alot for literature, so if you hate poetry and reading, don't take literature!
for science, i think i prefer Biology to Chemistry. Chemistry has a lot of equations, they confuse me!
i dropped Amaths, i cant cope 
im neither taking food&nutrition nor d&t. im taking ART!!!!
its fun la, just that my teacher nags alot.

i'd suggest to all straming students:DONT TAKE PHYSICS

i think chem is th 2nd easiest.after bio.ah well,different people have different opinions on a certain subject. LOL.
okay seriously,
if you wanna take art,it's quite difficult to make your mark in singapore.you gotta work damn hard.
&to any F&N students,please share what you do,im intrigued.

F&N is basically the study of food science. It is chemistry orientated, even though there is no need for complex chemistry equations. For O Level F&N, besides the written paper, you will need to complete Coursework A and Coursework B. Coursework A focuses on the theory part, along with the cooking, while Coursework B is based on the food sciences. Both courseworks are EXTREMELY important.

Be sure to take up Physics. It's a very easy subject to master. Chemistry is shit. Way too much memorisation processes going on, man. Take literature because it's a subject you won't have to study... too much.

a word (or more) of caution,
triple science is a whole lotta stress.
and lit is a subject you have to read your text over and over,so if you take triple science,you must know how to manage your time well.

I'm not from Singapore, but I'll say that I like History better than Geography.
I have a flair for general Science, though I dislike the three main branches. ;P

I hate history too -.-
(eventhough i love to listen to stories about the past)
Physics, &Geography are way better!

geography is more thinking questions,application questions.
history is more memorising and inferering.
social studies is th worst.

by the way, im taking Social Studies, Geography and History.

i like history and literature.
i dun like geography as it is very diff. i only get 20/100 for my ca1.

Ha, I prefer Geography to History. History's just boring (or maybe it's my teachers) in my opinion. My parents want me to take triple science, too :O I'd just be happy with combined science and A Maths.

I LOVE A MATHS. Its hard at first but when you understand the concept, its really fun!
Lit is fun because i love characted studies and its so fascinating that whatever ppl says, there's a hidden meaning. But i suck in Lit.
History is fun too though you have to memorise.

I just had my geog mye and I didn't finish my paper (!!!) My 15 marks gone -_-
Actually I hate both geog and history.. but I score better in geog I think.
I want to take Triple Science if I can, but if not I'll choose Bio & Chem next year.
Literature is interesting, but I can't score in it. =/
Hahah, I totally prefer F&N to D&T. D&T sucks ._.
Probably will take Amaths too

i think chinese and history rocks laaah! actually, to me personally, i think the teacher that teaches you that particular subject is important.
If you get a lousy teacher, you will be not interested in that subject. esp history.

If you score well in that subject, you would surely like that subject.

Well, literature comes easy for some though. You either have that natural flair for writing and critical thinking, or you don't.
Art's not just about drawing. You've got to paint and colour and whatever and that takes up alot of time and effort. Plus you usually have to submit the drafts along with your final work. Believe me, that's a real pain.

bonbon, 3M isnt pure geog. 3M and 3L's mix of history n geog. but hist students go to 3L while geog students go to 3M for geog during humanities. im from 3L and i take hist.
oh, I'd love to take art and drama. =/ if only dhs offered it. we have an elective for art, but you've gotta join in yr 1. and im yr 3 already.

btw, physics kill you to die man!
cause my cousin take physics and before her exam, she complain to me abt it, LOL.
so i wouldnt even take physics
i would rather chose chem and bio, LOL.

I'm taking Bio but I HATE Bio, because I hate memorizing stuff.
But I kind of love Math and Chem, and Physics.
Oh and I seriously think History is a lot easier to study then Geog. Since I'm in a History class.
