Today some people from my school were making really racist jokes and prank calls.
It made me feel sad that some people just don't care about other people's feelings.

And I'm kinda guilty as charged by myadversity. Banglas. But really, bangla means someone from Bangladesh, and as long as you use it correctly and not as an insult, its not so bad, is it?

Yea, thats the moral value my social studies teacher are trying to implant into our brain cells. Well, my school people like to call their friend by their friends parent names.

I really hate people covering their mouth when a indian walks in to the packed train cabinet.
I mean, no body ask you to go and smell it right
ar, Singaporeans. think whats make Singapore clean and green everyday, who is the ones picking up the empty can drink that you drink and threw it on the floor.

Bangla, technically, means someone from Bangladesh, or at least that's the Singaporean meaning for it.
And I don't think Indians/Bangladeshis are stupid. In fact, I think I read somewhere in the newspapers that more and more Indians are getting white-collar jobs in the IT industry or smth? Pro siol.

You should learn to accept them, not tolerate them! There's no reason for you to dislike such people!
Like, we shouldn't dislike today's Japanese for what their forefathers did to Singaporeans in WWII, right? Okay, off-point.
But, we shouldn't dislike Indians/Bangladeshis just because there's this common mentality that such people are not-as-good or whatever (which isn't true, really).
Tolerate and accept are very different.
And everyone has a certain patience level. If you only tolerate, sooner or later you'll go mad. Because Singapore does have many foreign workers from India/Bangladesh. [:

Yeah. More and more Indians are dominating the IT industry. If you go to Sim Lim Square you'll see most of stalls there are kept by Indians.

All the races in Singapore makes Singapore unique.
Everyone plays a part in keeping Singapore safe etc etc.
So what if you think they're smelly?
You think they don't think you're smelly?
So what if they clean the streets or work in those construction sites?
You think Chinese (or other races) don't clean the streets or work in those construction sites?
You think you are on a higher level than others? THINK AGAIN.
Racism is stupid.
You think you're the only one criticising the other races?
For all you know, the other race might be criticising you as well.
Racism is what brought about WWII.
Germans thinking that they are of a higher calibre as compared to the Jews.
Every single race and human being is part of the world.
We are what makes the world complete. Everyone plays a part.
