fair? what's not fair about this? it's natural for goodness sake. not as if earth is doing this to them in vengeance for the whatever whatever we did to it.

I just hope everything goes well for them in the future.
The numbers are shocking.
I saw the news on tv, the scenes of the crushed people made my heart break.
Hope this thing won't affect the olympics, which is coming up very soon.
Oh yeah tw celebs donated money to help too, like S.H.E =)
God bless them many many!
That earthquake made me realise how important and precious life is.

It's more than just a heartbreak for the Chinese parents. Many of them only have a child their whole life.
My school has also come up with the donation drive.

My school isn't doing anything for the China Earthquake, well not yet.
But we're donating money to the Myanmar Cyclone.
And the government will use our money to buy food, water and neccessities for them.
I donated quite a sum. WIsh them well.

i just donated $1.90 for the earthquake.
i won't donate money for Myanmar as i believe that 3/4 of it will go into the army's pockets.
and this is not a matter of fairness.

i feel the pain.
i have a schoolmate whos from myanmar. he came to singapore to study w/o his family by his side. then one fine day, cyclone struck. and he couldnt even contact his family. whether they are dead or alive, he is unsure. worst part, in the past, he always talked about how much he loved his family. and about all the festivals celebrated in myanmar, sth like water festival, they would play water for the whole day. so i could pretty much imagine how he felt when he saw the news. and worst part of the worst's worst part. he couldnt concentrate during his MYE! damn sad

well this are almost certainly signs of much worst. since when have you seen so many natural disasters at one go? or even at a few years apart? remember the 2004 tsunami, the hurricane, now comes the china earthquake and myanmar cyclone...

Have you all heard of the MSN China Rainbow Campaign?
Says to donate 0.2 RMB for every username who places a (R) in front of his/her username.
Unfortunately it seems to work only for MSN China users.

Many families were torn apart. God bless the victims of the earthquake.
Some put the blame on global warming, but natural disasters do happen from time to time. We can't really stop certain disasters from happening. Besides, we weren't meant to exist if not for the big bang in the beginning of it all.
But then. We should still try our best to reduce global warming.

yet they reject direct aid from international group.
