hey most of you know I set up a forum for gossip girl RP-ing with Janet and my friend.
On the night we opened we got bashed for copying another rp site which is really weird because we credited them as our inspiration for the layout.When we said sorry that we did not ask them for permission to use them as a reference they gave us two choices 1)Change the whole site 2)Delete the site
I think its a little over the top because yes we did copy them here and there but we did credit them, we told them we were sorry but now they want us to edit the whole thing.I put in loads of effort into it , I really dont know what to do, we took away the sidebar because they kept spamming our cbox ):
any advise(PS WE NEED HELP FOR CSS, ANY NICE SKINNER WILLING TO HELP?

i think you should just make some changes.
don't worry cos' you credited them right?
i mean, even though you all didn't seek permission, i'm sure they don't own anything. all GG lovers, so if they unfortunately do sue you, which i doubt, the case will go nowhere?
they hold nothing over the whole GG thing? i mean, it's like i watch Teen Titans so i create a fansite for 'em, and then someone creates another fansite and i sue them? makes no sense.
