First of all, I will have to apologize for holding back the results for such a long time.
I am so so so sorry.
And finally is the long awaited RESULTS! *throws confetti*
As the organiser, I am pretty glad that a lot of skins were being submitted for the first competition that I held. THANKS FOR EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED. :3
And now I will put up the overall results first, then follow by our judges' individual judgment.
(Now fellow blogskinners, please do not bear grudges towards us. T_T We're giving our most honest opinions. This competition is to have fun and share your love for your idol here right? =D)

Comments: The overall feeling is great, I like it. But somehow I find the small details are lacking. Your links color is too close to your side bar’s normal font color. Since you’re going for the scrapbook montage feel, it would be nice if your content area is being placed into an irregular shape background as well. I feel the summer happy feel from this.

Comments: First of all, interesting title. Haha! I find it such a waste that the effects you did on the images are nice but you didn’t put much effort into the codings. Everything on the codings is a little too monotonous. The flow of the layout was pretty disrupted, because the top seems very magical but the bottom seems to be very *straight-forward* looking.

Comments: The codings are very very neat. Nice. But the I feel that the feelings from the image I am supposed to feel is not enough. The flow of layout was pretty much damaged too because the content font color (white) was too glaring for the subtle darkness of the layout. However, I appreciate that your image quality is still kept in its best quality.

Comments: I don’t know whether you took the time to customize the CSS to suit your layout. The purity feel is that but I guess you add in unnecessary details that spoils the image.
For example, Jap, Romanji and English were being typed on the image itself. It feels pretty weird like this. It might be better, if your content area is placed away from the top more. The space there feels kind of suffocating to me.
(I hope you will credit the resources you used next time though darling.)

Comments: I have to say I didn’t find the headers font you used for the layout suit the overall. The image quality was fine actually until I saw your “woops” with the conversation bubble. Also, I don’t find the “blog” and “misc” you put onto the image is necessary, because it is pretty much understood which bar is for what purpose. Comments: I really love the image effect. On your description page, you said there was alignment error in IE and requested for the viewers to view in FF, I viewed in FF and the image was around 10px away from the left side. So I wonder whether that was your error or something. I wanted to go over your live preview site but it was already taken down.
However the most important thing I feel was wrong was your title and the emotions I get from the layout. Vengeance is supposedly a more serious form of hatred, right? I see a happy Rihanna avatar there. I feel pretty confused of what I am supposed to feel there. (Unless your Rihanna is smiling *evilly*. =x)
Keep the sense you have for image effects and work on your overall feel, because I find it wasted like that. :/ I really love the image effects.
And on the side note, your content shouldn’t be centralized. It would be very hard for the users to read one whole chunk of centralized content.

Comments: I really love the feel of this as well. And this seems to be one of the images that have a lot of treatment done to it as well. The glamour of Jay Chou being portrayed over here was well done. However, there are certain tiny details which can be improved on.
Noticed your whole image? There was an abrupt cut on the bottom left; I supposed you thought there was something to cover that cut off with the previous set of codings. However, the one you submitted for the competition appears to be pretty obvious. Be careful with your links’ visited state, because they become *invisible* after being clicked as your visited state of the links are black against black background.

Comments: I checked out the original image that you used for this layout, and found out that there wasn’t a lot of difference to it. I appreciate the fact that you tried to beautify headers, it’s good. Yet again, I find that the codings are not very suitable for the layout. You probably could choose colors from the image and code them accordingly.

Everything seems fine to me except the fact that the flow of the layout looks a bit truncated. You have something seemingly good going on and suddenly, there’s a sharp decline of images towards the right. This has been made worse with the act of clipping the image onto a shape, further keeping your images in a boundary in contrast to your content area which puts your main image focus out of balance.
Aside from that, I find effects and image quality okay if you were going for the softer look and feel.
PS: Try to adapt colours/shades from your main image for links, etc. Everything would look much more as a whole and set. =)

This layout really packs a punch in terms of colour and contrast. Colour scheme of content area also looks like a set with your main idea. The only flaw I would give about this design is that it’s a little off when it comes to the sides once again.
Why is there space before the left side of the image and no image above the right? Probably shifting them to be more centralized and balanced would’ve been better. Right now, it reminds me of the leaning tower of Italy. ^~^

The flow is good, the balance reaching the basic quota. One thing I’d like to say is just the image treatment. The image doesn’t really have a focal point or enough contrast to bring out the summer mood. The title is also a little mismatch as well as the slight-grunge touch behind it; maine image is a bit too “smooth”. =)
However, it does really put across the message of summer!

In accordance to your main phrase “I can never say that…”, Hoshimura Mai looks kinda happy doesn’t she(the two…happy images of her reflected)? lol I was actually expecting a coupling of melancholic images towards that phrase. But that’s just a personal opinion. None of it was taken into marking consideration.
The main killer for your score here is typography; your choice of fonts. Your main title isn’t as visible and prominent as your header title. And your side-header title really fights for attention for everything else in your layout, especially when insufficient space is given away from the main content.

The first thing that really captivated me was Kaneshiro hugging the girl in the middle. It really gives off a very strong emotion and feel. But everything fades when I read your sentence, “Love him, hate him. It’s still Takeshi-san.”, it didn’t quite fit the other images. But that’s just again, a personal note. I personally felt as if this gentle Kaneshiro’s fighting for this girl he loves and is thus trying his extreme best at everything else he does.
Anyway, the major let down of this is the colour combination of your content area, if any. Everything’s black/white and so solid; even the links are hard to differentiate from. Everything looks extremely generic.
Various fonts are also used for every single header/section/etc. Try to experiment more with colours as well as bold, italics, etc instead of a whole new font altogether. ^^ A bit here and there is fine, just not too much! =)

Watch your credits. Do not credit where you took the image from. Credit from whom you took it from. The background is repeated very badly without any treatment to make it look connected. Everything seems detached.
Not only is the layout monotonous, it also blurs the line of contrast between links, texts and headers.

Comments: It would have been better if you would take notice of the flow of the layout. By using white for the background it cuts off the flow making the layout feels like it is a chunk of text and an image.
The css is nice however it doesn’t seem to suit the image you might want to consider using colours from the image on your css or vice versa. Taken a mark off your bonus please remember to credit the image you took. According to your theme, you should have done something more impactful and since its rock I would recommend red and black.
