Hello all!
I am a web design student and a bit of a wiz when it comes to Photoshop and Illustrator. But I have never done a blog skin.
Where do I get the code to plug it in? Are the styling concepts the same - divs and stylesheets?
I am really looking forward to contributing some skins for your rating

yep! it's divs and CSS, but you cannot link the CSS to an external stylesheet of course.
You can download a skin and refer to the codes, but do rmb to credit them
