how can i change my blogskin without removing the particulars(links, profile...) that i;ve previously entered?

you look at the coding of the skin you want and add your old links and profile particulars in the right places.

open notepad, copy and paste the wanted info across.
clear the template box, paste the new skin,
then check your open notepad window and paste the relevant info into wherever the "profile space" is. : p
