Seems to have changed significantly so that even offering templates (e.g., blog skins) FOR FREE as is done here is in violation of the EULA for the photographs being offered.
I just got a nasty-gram from them today (read it here). So I've taken all but THREE of my blogskins down as the deleted blogskins were based on images I purchased from iStockPhoto.com.
If you are a designer who designs templates (or blog skins) and you are using images from iStockPhoto to do so, expect a similar letter from their legal eagles (located in Canada, FWIW).
Now I'm off in search of a more friendly source of images.

Aack, no HTML allowed so the link didn't come through. Just go to my web design site, www.webjones.org and you can read the brou-ha-ha there!

Yeah, I was browsing through there just yesterday and decided to look at their terms. I came to the realization that their images can no longer be used in the templates that we offer to people when I saw the bit about not redistributing images. Oh, well! That's a bummer, their prices are excellent compared to other pay stock photo sites and they have great images, too. I'll still browse their images for my own use.
