You can have a search in your blogger just like wordpress for people to search your previous post based on keyword. It works well for me in the new blogger account.
The code are as followings:
[form action="/search" method="get"]
Search[br /]
[input name="q" type="text" size="18" maxlength="25" /][br /]
[input type="submit" value="Search" /]
[/form]
