DO NOT USE OTHER PEOPLE's HTML for your designs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS AGAINST the RULES and considered theft and stealing!!!!!!!!!

The design IS the HTML!!!
the pictures are NOT what makes the design!!

you know, it's amazing how many people do that... and they seem to think they won't be caught, even when the original skins are so easy to find. it even says on the "submit" screen not to, and people still do it. maybe you need to make the warning bigger?

The answer my friends is that there are too many assholes out there... I have tried fighting them and their dastardly acts on numerous occasions but a guy like me is better at fighting when it is done offline. The sad bit is thanks to the vast differences in the economic, cultural and political backgrounds of different countries and their governments it is very difficult to have a copyright law that actually works on a global level. Now, all I do is give them a piece of my mind and boycott them... I know the assholes beat me, I guess I am a loser! ... But what does one do when we have 100000 assholes for every 1 nice person? :|

i don't mind people using my code wheather it be html c++ java fortran or such. if people use my stuff as a template and expand on it i don;t have a problem with it. I wrote a encryption/decryption program last year as a senior project for my highshool class. When i visited the schoo (from college) one of the students was working on it and showed it to me. he added feature made it looked better. he copied my algorythms for encoding/decoding, but added support forexternal files, tcp/ip (he borrowed class, gave credit to author).

the way i see it is that people are going to copy your stuff and if they give you credit you are lucky. most people will just pawn it off as being new.

The only thing worse than skin copying is bandwidth stealing. That's a real bitch.

hmm..then may i know if it's right to use someone's code with their permission? and not forgetting, to credit them as well. Is it right? Some says yes but some says no.
