**This is not really a guide, it's just a collection of links and a brief description about WYSIWYG editors.
-------------------
There are so many people asking for help on making blogskins, so I thought it'd be so much easier to make a thread and link helpful sites just so everyone won't have to type the same things all over again.
What is Dreamweaver / a WYSIWYG editor?
It is a What You See Is What You Get editor from Macromedia. It can be used to create websites, blogskins and the like. "WYSIWYG is used to describe applications that let you see how a finished HTML document will look whilst still letting you edit it." (definition from www.liv.ac.uk/webteam/glossary/)
My suggestion : Learn (X)HTML before using WYSIWYG editors. They should not be used if you can't code in HTML. WYSIWYG editors are known for inserting useless HTML codes that will result in bloated mark up.

How can you make your content box and blog box become the scrolling kind? And make your picture fill the whole screen when someone come and look at your blog?

And can anyone give me the codes to let people leave a comment and teach me where to put the codes?
|
| |

For the skin coding I use the Notepad... nh.

Can someone help please!!
I created a very basic template in Dreamweaver... and when I go to upload it on blogger.com I get this error message:
There should be one and only one skin in the template, and we found: 0
I'm a newbie to blog design... but I'm familiar with Dreamweaver, all I wanna do is create my skin in that program, 'cause I don't really understand HTML. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
