are we able to delete comments that we made? if so how? if not, why not? because sometimes i look back on a comment after submitting and i think that maybe i want to edit it, or add something, but i can't because i've already posted.

Nope, you aren't. Not quite sure the reason...for that you'd have to ask Myles, but my best bet is because people may abuse that privilage somehow. Just think before you comment, that's the best way to go. ^.^
