I want to use this image as a header:

Instead of 2 columns left and right, I'd like to have one be on top of the other, so that my entries are right in the middle of the page (spanning about 2/3 across), and 2 columns on the bottom, one for my brief profile/archive, and one for my links and shout box.
I dont know anything about CSS (i do know a wee bit of html though) so I have no clue if this is possible, but if somebody can make this happen, or show me how, I'd be grateful. BTW this is for blogger.

no not exactly
I want the place where my entreis are to be spread across the entire page, underneath it i want 2 colums spaning hlf the page, right next to each other (one for my lil profil/links and the other for my tagboard) and I want that pic to be the header. I know how to do this on Myspace profiles, but i have no clue how to do it for a blog because of the entries changing and other stuff.
