Hey guys!
Before you post a skin request, please search the Blogskins database thoroughly for your desired skin. Only when you really can't find one, then you post your request.
This is a SKIN REQUESTS forum, not a help forum. So please do not flood this forum with all kinds of help.
Mind your manners and etiquette when you request a skin. Most skinners wouldn't patronise a rude requester. Request politely.
Provide your skin request post an S.S.S. (Short, Sweet, Simple) but detailed subject of the skin you'd like.
Please specify clearly the skin you'd like. Be more detailed than what you've typed for the subject. Specify:
1. Layout & Format
Do you want the skin to be navigational (skins which you have to click on a button to navigate), or continuous-scrolling (skins which you have all sections in one page, just have to scroll)?
State the certain sizes of certain objects if necessary. State the certain patterns you'd like to see. State the certain designs you'd like to see. State the certain designs that you wouldn't like to see. ETC~~~
What sections would you like? - Profile, Tagboard, Jukebox, Links, Posts etc...
What fonts would you like to use? ETC...
2. Theme
What certain text do you want to appear in the skin? Otherwise, what is the skin you'd like about? - Love? Hatred? School? etc etc. Do elaborate further on the theme.
3. Colours
State the only colours you want to appear in the skin. - Background colour, text colour, links colour etc.
4. Image
What specific image do you want to appear in the skin? - Clouds? A model? etc. You can provide one preferred image too.
etc etc... Provide the most details you can.
If you give a sloppily described request, how could you expect a perfect skin?
Provide a reasonable deadline when you want your skin to be done by.
Provide a means of contact (such as MSN, contact number etc) so that an interested skinner who'd like to help you can know more about the skin you'd like. Otherwise, be sure you come back here often to check for updates.
Do not post REPEATED requests unnecessarily.
Please do not expect that your request will surely be entertained. You might want to modify your request if that happens.
