Hi!
We are a group of students from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Singapore, and we are working on a community project that aims to raise awareness of the disabled people's plight.
Do you know that people with disabilities make up almost 10% of the people in most countries?
Do you know that blind people can read webpages with the help of text-to-speech softwares?
Are you aware of the fact that many mute people communicate with their friends using Instant Messaging Services such as AOL and MSN?
Do you know that people with low vision use screen magnifiers to assist them in viewing computer screens?
A lot of blog templates are not disabled-friendly, as they are not designed with the disabled in mind. However, this can change.
To learn how to create disabled-friendly blogskins or to ensure that your blog template is disabled friendly, check out our project blog: http://enabledesign.blogspot.com/
To check how disabled-friendly your blog is, check out this website: http://validator.w3.org/
It's up to you. Enable their future.
