Anyone tried those free webhosting/free subdomain services like
byethost.com
x10hosting.com
They have decent amount of bandwidth traffic, disk space, you can do ftp stuff, mysql, scripts and whatever else? I know they kinda have crappy subdomain names but I'm willing to deal with it. I don't want to buy a domain and hosting yet because I just want to try out having my own website first before I think about purchasing something like that.
I just want to know the reliability of these kinds of services because I really want to set up my own website without the hassle of paying for anything yet.

She offers free hosting (both sub-domain and domain) and my friends who are hosted by her tell me she's very friendly and helps you out.
