You can try feathering the image at the bottom so it doesn't look cut off. Try aligning the image to the left because the left side looks cut off too, but if you align it to the left it'd look better. The css codings are nice, so great job! For the font, crest-fallen.blogspot.com, it looks rather rough & edgy, you may want to try smoothing it so it looks better. By the way, I don't think users would want a blog URL which isn't theirs on the image, so you can try making it smaller and less subtle on the image. Sorry for the long comments. x.x

hm...the picture's cut off, so a bit not so pleasing. then the anime girls, what do they have in relation? try to make them have something of a more common theme. and blurring alone it isnt enough. perhaps eraser? go at it lightly first, ok? but the brushes used are well placed, so it's not a bad job still.
hope you don't mind these comments and that they arent too harsh...XD
