I agree about the preview problems...I was so afraid there was something wrong with my coding. I'll copy your code to blogger and have a look at it...

Hmm...you are lacking in the basic html tags & . They mark the beginning and end of the page, so they're important.

The gold is not very visible on the teal-ish background with the rose - perhaps you might want to add boxes on the image. They can #1 - Mark out the areas the text are placed at & #2 - Make your words clearer.

Perhaps instead of glaring blue for your links you can try something lighter, but not too bright to contrast with the background.

All in all, I like the simplicity of your blogskin. ^_^ A few, just a few brushes might work, but I can't say your blogskin is plain, because the rose enhances it.
