[tcc] 03. Girlfriend

The skin is made in submission for the No-Name-But-Really-Cool BS Competition, in which beautiful banner you'll get to see below.

The colours used are mainly black, hot pink, pink and grey. I am pretty proud of myself for I actually coded it all by myself, without any basecodes! Although I have several references - for example, my own blog.

Only after coding this skin and being self-satisfied with it, I let my friend Russell see it and he'd give me his own opinion. He told me it looked like bikiniboy's skin here.

I looked and freaked out on how much they look alike. Thus I have changed the fonts for the navigations. I did not refer to her codes/skin whatsoever.

You may find that some of the codes used in this skin are pretty similar to the skins I submitted previously, but that's only because I like how they look like, so coded them the same. However, I repeat, I did not take any basecodes whatsoever.

This skin might seem very effortless, but I spent quite some time trying to make the alignments perfect, make the colours blend in together, and make sure the fonts fit. I don't know what you think, but I'm pretty content that I can come up with a skin all by my own now. I promise I'll try again for the next skin!
