hey.
if you have used a skin by maystardesigns.com, or by ANYONE ELSE (pretty much), you need to upload the pictures from the skins to YOUR OWN WEBSITE!!!

Not doing so is called "stealing bandwidth" and is against the law.

You can LEGALLY put the pictures on WWW.VILLAGEPHOTOS.COM and then put them in your blog that way.

In order to do this:
Right click the picture you want and select "save as..."
Open an account at villagephotos.com
Upload your pictures there.
Put the new image (or img) tag they give you IN PLACE of the old image tag in your template.
so if if used to say background="http://www.angelfire.com/stars4/maystar2"
it will now say background="http://www.villagephotos.com/582589239523431.jpg"
or something like that.


When you steal bandwidth, you hurt EVERYONE.
The user's account (that would be the designer) get's DELETED or suspended for too much bandwidth use and for "hotlinking" ...
The skins that are on blogskins will no longer show the pictures. Meaning that all the designer's hard work is GONE!
All the people that were illegally linking to the image also no longer have it on their template, and neither do you...

This is a very serious problem that has cause some GREAT designers (like katie) to leave blogskins and delete ALL their skins...

technically, you could be sued, fined, and maybe even go to jail for braking this law...

Out of respect for the designers, please do not link to their images. Even if it's hosted on a free account, free accounts do not allow that....And if it's on their personal website, chances are that you are pushing them over their bandwidth limit causing them to pay lots and lots of extra $$$$ every month!!!!

yeah, so please please do not link to our pictures/images in your templates
