I like the monochromatic look, those are some really nice color choices!

However, this is the 2nd skin of yours that I've looked at where everything is misaligned. Since I use Firefox, I thought maybe that was the issue at first, but then I checked this skin in IE and Opera, and same thing there: your text layers are not lining up correctly with the boxes in the image that are meant to contain them.

So then I looked at your code and found the problem. You are centering the image but then using absolute positioning to line up the divs containing your text. While this might look good on the computer you used to design your skin, as well as on any other computer that might use an identical screen resolution, anyone with a screen res setting that differs from yours is going to see the text misplaced... and I'm sure you don't want that!

What would work is if you created a container or wrapper div, position that absolutely with a left: 50%, and then figure out the widths for each layer and use "position: float" instead.

One more thing that would be nice is if the code for archives were included. Back when I wasn't familiar with Blogger's tags, I had to use other people's templates and I can't tell you how often I would come across a skin I loved but couldn't use because it didn't contain all of the codes I wanted, and I didn't know how to input those codes on my own.
