hello kitty - konnichiwa

Valid CSS. Tested in IE6, Firefox 1.0.3, Netscape 7.1, and Opera 7.50.

This is a very simple layout (as all my skins tend to be, it's just a personal preference). It features Hello Kitty (I love Hello Kitty!) in a kimono, seated on a cushion.

This is a good skin for people who'd like to take advantage of the different Blogger features such as the Blogger profile, Previous Posts, and Comments. These features don't work in the Blogskins.com preview, so I recommend that you check out the sample I've set up on my site. If you happen to like the Blogger NavBar, then here's some good news -- you don't have to alter a thing in the template. I put enough space at the top so that the image doesn't get covered up by the NavBar. Out of all the NavBars that Blogger has made, the black one looks best with this template.

One more thing to note: you will have to upload the two images to your own image-hosting account. You don't have any choice in the matter, because I've disabled hotlinking to my website. The only reason why the images are appearing here on the blogskins.com preview is because this site is on my 'allowed' list.

One person says it's too pink, another says there isn't enough dark pink, and still another says the colors are sweet. Haha... See, there's just simply no pleasing everyone. I rest my case.

I refuse to change the font size. I use a 1280 x 1024 screen resolution, and out of respect for others who also use higher screen res's, as well as for those who might not be able to see all that well, I've got a *gasp* font size that is readable. I can't tell you how many times I've come across blogs with font sizes so ridiculously tiny that I just left them without bothering to read because, quite frankly, it's annoying as hell. Same goes for skins with font colors that are too similar to the background. Hey, I know it looks pretty, but why the fuck are you even bothering with writing if you're going to make it so that I can't read it? Okay, that's enough ranting... If the font size bothers you that much, then change it yourself.
