i know many of you obtain images all over the net, and one art site we are especially familiar with is Deviantart.com. i am not telling you not to use these pictures, but i'm sure that many of you by now know that using of other's images without permission is a crime. all they ask of you is "permission". i myself use Deviantart pics, and that is after i have asked the artists themselves. they have nicely agreed to let me use them in my blogskins, provided the credits are duely given. some people are selfish and dont wish to share their source of images, but can't you spare a thought for the artists who have put effort in their work? all they ask for is an open link to them, (even if you find it too troublesome to ask for permission) rather than just a link to Deviantart.com right at the bottom of the page. If you're gonna be a member of the Internet art community (blogskins is art too i guess), then act like one people.
