BANG*BANG___________(byaaronkok) ; RIP(GRANDMA

this skin is inspired and dedicated to my late grandmother, Loh Maria-Vella (1919 - 2005). this was inspired by her favourite song of her time, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) by Nancy Sinatra. she's hip that way. my mom said she would hear her mother sing that song everyday whilst she would cook in the kitchen.

so as i sit here, all empty inside, enduring flashbacks - of how she'd bath me as a toddler, or how she would often smuggle sweets for me while i was in kindergarten, or how she'd tell me folklore from her birthplace in Holland (she's Indo-Dutch, and a very english-educated lady) - i begin to miss her through tears and sniffles.

a year after her battle lost to cancer and i still can't get over her. great.

friends, if you're reading this, remember something: you will never know how precious someone is till you've let them fly away. don't wait for that to happen before you regret.

"aaron, you must be a good boy. study hard and don't make mommy and daddy sad. take care of the house when mommy and daddy isn't home. be good and one day you will succeed and earn alot of money." -Grandmother, 10 minutes before her passing.
